  Amazing wedding photographer - Hamilton

  Kathy was our wedding photographer this past Summer and did an amazing job! She captured all of the special moments of our entire day so beautifully. She was very kind, professional and very easy to work with. An engagement shoot was also included in our package which not only gave us very nice pictures ahead of the wedding but was a great chance for us to get to know her and get comfortable in front of the camera. She was very fast in delivering our photos after both shoots and would recommend Kathy to anyone looking for beautiful wedding photos! She is very talented.

  Best wedding photographer in the Hamilton/GTA region

  Kathy was everything she promoted and more! Kathy was wonderful to work with throughout the whole engagement and wedding process. She has so much experience with all types and varieties of weddings that it made booking her such an easy decision! For my wedding I was needing as many hours as Kathy could offer and the day of the event she arrived earlier than scheduled and even after the time we agreed upon for her to be done for the day she was making sure we had photographed everything we wanted and with everyone we were hoping to before she left for the night. Each step of the way she offered suggestions when we asked in terms of photo locations for the engagement session and wedding day and her packages were quite reasonable because she includes so much. Kathy was so timely with editing the engagement and wedding pictures, the thank you cards were ready for us to send out when we wanted and the albums we received were absolutely stunning and excellent quality! You need to have a special bond with your photographer and Kathy made me feel at ease and was calm throughout the whole day which was definitely needed on such a busy day. If I could give her more stars I would. You only have one chance to capture your special day and if I had to do it all over again I would 100% choose Kathy to be our wedding photographer again! Thank you Kathy!

  While I must give Kathy points for clear photographs, she falls short on creativity. When we hired a professional photographer to capture our wedding we thought we would get someone who would pay attention to detail. Not so with Kathy.....telephone poles in the background.....hydro towers in view...things "sticking up from heads". Without direction from us the pics were not good enough for the album. She failed to photograph me (the bride) coming out of the limo at the venue - I had a lot on my mind that day and trusted her to get the usual shots. No close up of our rings, yet I see so many shots like that on her site. A good photographer pays attention to "twisted ties, unbuttoned suits and the like. Some shots were fantastic but as she failed to shoot such popular pictures as a bride arriving at her wedding, I cannot recommend her. For the money, if you are willing to supervise her intently (or better yet have an assistant to guide her) she can provide you with some lovely clear shots. Just don't expect creative shots from Kathy Demerchant.

  Kathy and her assistant did an AMAZING job at our wedding on August 8, 2015. Our pictures were absolutely beautiful. She truly captured the moments I wanted to remember forever and also the small details I didn't get to see. Her vision is everything you want from a wedding photographer!
  
  We will definately use Kathy in the future and would would HIGHLY recommend her for all of lifes special moments!

  Kathy recently shot our wedding and she was so friendly, professional and amazing. She made us feel comfortable and attractive and had our first look of photos up within a matter of days, we're obsessed! Would highly recommend Kathy, she's worth every penny!

  It was a pleasure having Kathy as our wedding photographer! She was professional & very easy to work with, she made us feel comfortable at all times. Our photos are gorgeous & we get compliments all the time! We would definitely recommend Kathy & hope to use her again in the future.

  We chose Kathy Demerchant Photography because she was our big must have, our one and only photographer choice. After seeing the extraordinary photos she had captured during our previous sessions and engagement shoot, we were filled with excitement and anticipation knowing the wedding photos Kathy would capture for us would be far from ordinary and nothing like the typical wedding photos you see all the time in our area. She is an incredibly wonderful person and has a way of making anyone feel natural in front of the camera. The images she creates are unique, inspiring and just simply breath taking. She has a way of seeing backdrops and angles that are unseen to many. She truly loves what she does and made our day full of laughter and enjoyment. We highly recommend Kathy to all our friends and to any bride and groom that are looking for amazing photographer !
