Kim Payant Photography is a Banff, Alberta-based wedding and elopement photography company that specializes in visual storytelling for your wedding, elopement and special occasion. Lead artist Kim offers a romantic and heartfelt approach to capturing the most genuine moments in all of her images. She is well versed in fashion, so she will make you feel comfortable in front of the camera for unbelievable shots. She photographed her first wedding as a photography student back in 2002. Since then she has done fashion and commercial photography before moving on to her true passion which is wedding photography.
Services Offered
Kim Payant Photography offers couples a number of services for their wedding. They can enjoy the exclusivity of her talents as she only books one event per day. Kim can be assisted by a second photographer if necessary. You will receive your collection of photos in high-resolution digital format. Her packages also include liability insurance.

Simply amazing
Kim is just amazing, very accommodating and friendly. We had a small intimate wedding and she worked with us to provide us with what we needed. She was flexible on the day of the wedding and a true professional. She picked great locations for our wedding photos and they turned out beautifully. We have absolutely zero regrets or complaints!

Amazing Photographer!
Kim was absolutely amazing as my elopement photographer. We were coming from the US and got married at Lake Louise. She made us feel comfortable every step of the process and was very responsive to emails, questions, and concerns throughout the process. We had no idea what to expect at the location, but Kim helped us to think through the details like timing, order of events, etc. On the day of the event, Kim was so easy to work with. The whole family was so impressed that she knew everyone's names and directed the pictures efficiently and professionally. The pictures turned out so amazing, we couldn't have imagined anything better. We would definitely use Kim as our photographer again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her to anyone looking!

Blown away!
Pictures turned out better than I could have imagined, and I had high expectations. Besides that Kim was always there to help out with anything she saw needed to be fix or we needed help with. Couldn’t have asked for a better person to photograph our wedding!

Only great things to say
Kim's photos were absolutely stunning. We were really impressed with her professionalism. She knew what we wanted and managed to fit everything in, helping with herding family members and friends. She clearly has a ton of experience as she got all the important shots. Kim also kindly drove us to beautiful scenery in the Canmore and Banff area and we got gorgeous shots!

Amazing Photographer and Great Value!!
Kim exceeded our expectations at every step of the process. She was very prompt and easy to get in touch with. She worked with us to find a package that would work best for our day and our vision. She is extremely organized. On the day, she was very calm and she made taking photos fun! We got our photos back in the timeframe she told us and all the photos are absolutely beautiful. Book Kim!! You really won't regret it :)

Fantastic photographer - highly recommend
My wife and I recently had Kim photograph our wedding in Banff. She was quick to reply to all of our emails, accommodated having a video chat before meeting in person, and was excellent in every way throughout our engagement photo shoot and our wedding day. We have so many beautiful photos, it's hard to narrow them down for our album! Being a same-sex couple, it was important to us to have a photographer with whom we felt relaxed and comfortable. Kim has the perfect personality for this job. She was so easy to be around, fit in seamlessly to our wedding day, and captured all of the important moments for us.

Kim was fantastic!
She was super friendly and professional, and made us feel at ease both in preparation for and during our big day. Aside from being an excellent photographer, Kim has a knack for remembering everyone’s names, which really came in handy when trying to maneuver our many family members into a group photo. And the photos are stunning, from the ceremony and wedding party photos to our first dance and all the candid moments she captured. We’re so glad to have had Kim photograph our special day, thank you so much, Kim!
