From the moment we got engaged and I opened up my first wedding magazine, I knew we had to book Kristyn. Her work blew me away, it is light, airy, whimsical, romantic and bright. When we met in 2019 I thought she was just the loveliest person! Kristyn has a very calming presence and brings a vast amount of expertise and vision. Our original wedding was planned for May 2020, so when COVID shut everything down in March 2020, my now husband and I were stressed.

Kristyn was so kind and helpful, she went from being our photographer to being a friend. She was always there for us for emotional support and professionally to help us reschedule our wedding and everything that goes with it. I sent Kristyn 8-10 paragraph emails with my questions and concerns (sorry Kristyn) and she always answered them all so fast and with such detail.

Kristyn provides an amazing wedding guide that is FULL of so many tips, suggestions, Q&A’s and beautiful photos. We actually kept it on our coffee table because it was so nice to look through while we waited for our day to come.

When it came time to have our engagement shoot, Kristyn made sure to schedule us on a day where the weather cooperated and incorporated things from our personal lives to make the pictures extra special. My husband and I can be kind of awkward in front of the camera, but she was amazing at helping us pose and look natural and in love (she is also amazing at editing).

Kristyn went above and beyond for us on our wedding day and we could not be more grateful! We fully recommend Kristyn to capture your special day, maternity, newborn and other milestones!

Kristyn is an amazing photographer, to say the least. She, and her wonderful husband, shot our wedding day from start to finish! She's got a natural instinct of how to make you and your man look your absolute best: comfortable, beautiful, and completely yourselves. She captures the love and affection between you and your other half, while taking in the beautiful scenery that surrounds you. Her photos are light and airy feeling, while being romantic and timeless. Her use of film and digital photography provide a beautiful array of photographs. We cannot speak more highly of a photographer.

Kristyn is such a lovely person who takes lovely photos. She made the whole process painless and made sure to meet with us multiple times to make sure we got every shot we wanted. Working with her feels like having your best friend take your photos - she’s so friendly and familiar and tells jokes to get you to laugh and smile. We definitely will use her again for big occasions in the future!

Kristyn was very professional, adaptable to a big cultural wedding and handled the crowd well! She took the time to learn about my now husband and I throughout the planning and was very accessible when we had further questions. It's no wonder that she's rated one of the best in Calgary. Working with Kristyn was an absolute pleasure. It was a hard decision to make, to interview your photographers and pick the perfect fit for you and your husband. You need to pick someone that matches the style you're going for but just as important someone you feel comfortable around - as lets face it, we're not models or used to people taking our photos.
Kristyn was great working with adults as well as the kids (we had all our nieces and nephews in our bridal party) and no matter the weather Kristyn is always able to get those perfect outdoor shots! (And plenty of back up plans!) The way she captures the lighting in your photographs will take your breath away. You really wouldn't need a videographer, she's that good.
She was also incredibly receptive to feedback. Her willingness to work with her clients is second to none. She wants those great shots just as much as you do! We requested that some of her photographs highlight the beautiful surroundings in which we took our photographs, and we love the candid shots - and boy did she deliver! Again and again.

Being the clueless male that I am, I did not know much about wedding photography. I didn't know about engagement shoots, or that photographer's had a "style". When my wife booked a photographer and explained that we had to shoot photos in -20 in December, I was puzzled. I didn't really look at the portfolio of the woman that she had hired prior, but I trusted my wife.

Enter Kristyn. She met with us and instantly I knew that my wife to be had made the right decision. She shot in the freezing cold, and truly had a style. Between her eye to capture us naturally as we were, and her knowledge of lighting and editing, the polished photos we received for our engagement shoot were enough for any person to have peace of mind that their wedding photos were going to be spectacular. And they were.

She is fantastic. She knows how to coax the most natural poses out of you as a couple, and is anything but a cookie cutter traditional wedding photographer. All it takes is one look at her portfolio to realize that she is one of the best , if not the best, photographers in Alberta.

Before seeing Kristyn's work, we had been communicating with another photographer about capturing our day. Long story short, the first photographer did not make an effort to meet with us, poorly communicated with me despite several attempts on my part, and stressed me out to the point where I started to dread planning my wedding. After seeing Kristyn's work via a mutual friend I was excited about her style and the beautiful way she captured real moments. I contacted her and got a very promt response. Shortly we were meeting with her and she couldn't have made us more comfortable, and she made me feel like she was excited to take part in our story, which took a lot of the stress off. We were a little worried for our engagement photos being that we both aren't super comfortable in front of the camera, and didn't want the pictures to look or feel "forced". We were blown away! Not only did we have a lot of fun but the pictures were so lovely. Leading up to the wedding Kristyn made sure that everything was in place for the day's photographing to go smoothly, and it did. We have not stopped getting compliments on our photos a year later and for two people who don't love the spotlight, we love looking at and showing off our pictures displayed all around our home! Thank you Kristyn for documenting these amazing moments in our journey and for being another friend that we were honoured to share our day with.

Kristyn was our first vendor to book right after our venue, but even so our venue was booked after having seen Kristyn's work and how she was able to conceptualize the beauty within the space. We loved Kristyn's photographic eye and was so impressed in how she could capture sweetness and romanticism in every photo. She made us feel very comfortable during photo shoots and her guidance and direction made us feel (without it sounding cheesy!) like we had our own personal cheer leader!
Kristyn was quick to provide preview photos (which we were so giddy to see) and during our wedding day she was very attentive to our time-line yet accommodating to photographic requests. We are already wanting Kristyn to capture more of our life's story (yet to come!). She is worth the investment, if not more!
