Phenomenal photographer and we had amazing memorable photos! Loads of laughs and smiles all around.
Professional, friendly and VERY, easy to work with! She's extremely talented and a delight! I would highly recommend her to anyone. She has an amazing eye anything she touches turns to pure magic!
There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that she's the BEST!
Our guests and grooms party had complimented at how personable and professional she was! -

That extra little something
I had Leelynn capture my wedding day. Not only is she easy to get along with and down to earth, she worked with me makin sure to get specific poses I requested. Leelynn has hands down captured some of the most important memories of my life and did it beautifully. Thanks again Leelynn! -

I had Leelynn as a wedding photographer and could not have been more disappointed.
She missed very basic wedding shots. I do not have one picture from the entire day of me and my husband smiling at the camera. I also do not have a full bridal party shot where you everyone's heads were visible (she did not move people in a visible location). I do not have a picture of me walking down the aisle.
To save time, she decided to cut out full length pictures (which is what I preferred, she could have asked me as I was obviously right there). My dress is all about the silhouette and not a very elaborate top portion and I have no pictures to show the dress' beautiful shape. Something a photographer's eye should have caught.
She was very rude when talking to my bridal party and family and we thought it was so she could get the pictures done quickly (but ended up not getting very many nice shots).
She had no eye for photography, and most of my bridal party were pointing out things that shouldn't be in the shot. Some of our shots had construction in the background or people walking around who shouldn't have been ithe shot.
She complained about locations and lighting but did not offer solutions. She admitted not trying in one location because she didn't like it.
Lots of the pictures are not straight on to the group, there is lots of awkward tilts and negative space. This artistic additions would be fine if we would have had the basic shots nailed first, however there are no nice basic shots.
When I told her how unhappy I was, it took two emails, one facebook message and one week for her to respond. She responded with "one image is better than none" and absolutely ZERO compassion. She defends herself (with ruthlessness I must add) but there is absolutely no way she doesn't know she delivered an unsatisfactory job; she just wants to protect her profits. Leelynn should never have another wedding client and should most definitely not receive her accreditation for professional photographer.L.Bardsley Photography's reply:
I’d like to apologize for your experience with L.Bardsley Photography at your wedding. I’m very sorry you didn’t have a positive experience. I have photographed over 80 weddings in my time, as a wedding photographer, this being my 5th wedding season, and have over 10 years of photography experience. Yours is the first one I’ve received that isn’t a FIVE-STAR OR OTHER SUPERLATIVE review. I value the opportunity to improve my business and customer service always. You and I have corresponded September 29th, October 8th and October 9th. As of October 14th you had informed me that all matters were resolved. I honestly thought after hours of corresponding we had resolved all your concerns seeing as it was associated with locations that were not recommended due to poor direct lighting and construction sites in the background. I received an email on November 7th requesting a refund with additional issues along with new complaints. I feel you are neglecting to mention that all formal posed images were delayed two hours between getting ready and the ceremony which unfortunately left me 1.5 hours to photograph formal family photos in one location, then travel to a second location to photograph a 16 person bridal party, then travel to a third location for a couple session. I did the best I could with the locations that were out of my control. I just want to clarify the context of your phrasing, ‘one image is better than none’ I wanted to make sure we capture at least one image even under the circumstances.
In addition to this, I have requested additional information pertaining to your family to send out apology letters if I was misunderstood at some point to come off ‘rude’. I had some very pleasant conversations with your family and I was not aware in the least that I gave them a negative experience. I would hate for them to feel my encouragement to leave to our first formal posing location was meant to be ill-mannered, it is the only thing I can possibly think of, perhaps they were not aware of how extremely late we were running. Please feel free to give me a phone call at any time if that is more convenient for you for this information.

I am so pleased with how my pictures turned out and the album looks great. Would definitely recommend to any bride looking for amazing pictures and great service!

The only thing is that a lot of my family is french and the communication between them and her was a bit though and maybe it would have created a better exchange if she could have learn a bit of french and for future client also since it's a bilingual province. -

I can't not wait until have I have a baby to do newborn, I highly recommend her for wedding, engagement, newborn and so much more 😊
