She is one of those personalities that is easy to be around with a contagiously good mood. I think it shows through in her photos how relaxed and comfortable she makes you feel. I am to say the very least awkward, and she helped me really just enjoy the moment.
Secondly I would also like to add that she went above and beyond my expectations. During covid was a difficult time to plan a wedding and she really helped me sort out some stressful situations. She also recommended vendors, gave great advice and brought the most thoughtful little wedding gift.
I would recommend her 1000 times over!

“All you need is love”… and a photographer who can help you compose and orchestrate the best possible image.
I am a true romantic and have been enthralled with love, weddings, and profound human connection for as long as I can remember.
I currently reside in Edmonton, the capital of Alberta, Canada, but have significant wanderlust and feel honored that that my career as a professional photographer enables me to work on-location shooting destination weddings, elopements, and other important milestones.
I’ve always enjoyed connecting with people and watching them evolve and believe that this is why my transition to photography has been a natural one. My love for artistry and transformations first began as a musician and music teacher, and eventually, it led me to pursue a new medium, which is capturing the beauty of human emotion through my lens. My dedication and discipline to the arts and to teaching provide me with innate skills to direct and pose my clients in order to create the best possible image, while also leaving space to observe and capture meaningful spontaneous moments.

Chelsea is Lily Laidlaw Photography's Lead Associate Photographer and Executive Assistant. She is an invaluable member of the team who shoots weddings alongside Lily and can easily lead the team when Lily is not on set. In addition to shooting weddings for LLP, Chelsea is involved in all of the other aspects of running Lily Laidlaw Photography, from helping with editing to ensuring our clients receive the highest level of care and attention.
When she is not behind the camera, Kennedy is busy working as a Licensed Practical Nurse while finishing her Registered Nursing degree. Kennedy is very detail-oriented and is a solid second photographer. She takes considerable time to capture every detail of your wedding and is fabulous at styling flat-lays!
