Lisa Mark Photography is owned and operated by the husband and wife team of Justin and Lisa Mark. They are based in Milton and love creating romantic and evocative imagery for couples celebrating engagements and weddings. Images by Lisa Mark Photography artfully blend natural moments with more fashion-inspired, posed work. Lisa Mark Photography reflects various styles, such as contemporary, innovative portraiture, and photojournalism.

Experience

Lisa has over eight years of experience photographing weddings. She was recognized as Canadian Photographer of the Year and Best Photographer in Ontario by the 2014 Canadian Wedding Industry Awards. Junebug Weddings, Wedluxe, Weddingbells, The Wedding Co., and more have featured her work.

Services offered

Lisa Mark Photography covers one event per day. All images are high-resolution, and the business has liability insurance. Justin is Lisa’s second shooter. Lisa and Justin are happy to do multi-location shoots. Their Diamond, Platinum and Gold wedding packages include the following services:

  • 6-12 hours coverage by two photographers
  • 20x30 gallery wrap or engagement guestbook
  • Online gallery and proof book - Engagement session or one hour of extra coverage
  • One 12x12 feature album and two 8x8 parent albums
  • High-resolution files on USB drive

An a la carte package for engagement sessions is also available.

How they work

Lisa likes to connect with couples to learn what their photography experience means to them. She aims to capture the different emotions of each fleeting moment of their wedding day and also provides guidance when required.

Other services

In addition to weddings, Lisa Mark is happy to cover newborn and baby portraits, maternity shoots, music events, family portrait, and creative shoots. She also conducts full-day photography workshops for new photographers.

Blown away!

Absolutely blown away! I hired Lisa for a small family civil ceremony with very little notice and she was very accomodating and professional. I was blown away by my photos, so much variety and creativity to her images. So many good shots, I wish we had hired her for our elopement in CR (hindsight is 20/20!). I am so happy to have these photos as a keepsake. Her style and work and professionalism are top notch

I found Lisa through WedLux and was instantly intrigued by ability to capture moments beautifully. My then-fiancé and I drove to her studio in Rockwood and felt like we were meeting with a friend. I met with many photographers, but there was an instant connection with Lisa. Lisa was warm, kind and passionate about her work. She spoke about her couples as if she had known them for years. It was clear that Lisa really cared about the couples she worked with.

My engagement session was seamless. My husband and I still talk about how much fun we had. We opted to do a Save The Date with our engagement pictures and received countless compliments.

The day of my wedding, Lisa and Alfred were phenomenal. They ensured that we were comfortable and having fun. They beautifully captured all of our special moments. What I especially love about my wedding photos is that they really are candid, authentic moments. Our photos do not have that posed looked to them because Lisa was able to capture everything as it happened. I feel incredibly lucky to have had Lisa and Alfred capture our wedding. I have beautiful photos and memories of my wedding that will last me a life time.

Working with Lisa was a pleasure! She is such a warm person, filled with joy and committed to giving you the best product.

She has such a great eye for capturing the perfect moments. On our wedding day, she and Justin made our family feel at ease and got rid of all the stress. They were organized, efficient, and super professional.

After the big day, my wife and I were welcomed to Lisa's studio to co-create the perfect wedding album. This session was interactive, and inspiring. It was such a cool experience to see Lisa in her creative environment. Lisa even took time to treat us for lunch. She's honestly so kind.

We can't say enough great things about our experience with Lisa Mark Photography. We would absolutely recommend working with her. You won't be disappointed! And the photos were breath-taking!

There is so much I can say about Lisa and I don't even know where to start. What mattered most to us was that we would have the best photographer because after all the said and done, the photos and the experience are memories meant to last forever. Lisa was able to capture all of our favourite moments, without her knowing they were our favourite moments, and give us an incredible look at all the activities and events throughout the day, with our closest friends and family and so much more.
Lisa was easy to talk to from the start. Super attentive and responds fast. Helped us with figuring out locations and answered all my questions with that charm and sunny personality of hers. On the actual wedding day Lisa and her husband were perfectly punctual, professional, super flexible on the small things and stuck to her artistic instincts on the major things, and took care of everything.
Her natural gift with knowing how to work with lighting and years of experience worked to our advantage throughout the day. All the details, all the shots we could ask for, all the images both candid and posed, we couldn't believe how amazing the photos turned out. In fact what was better was how easy and comfortable we felt with her taking countless photos of us from morning until night.
Both my husband and I are not always ready for the camera type of people, yet somehow she managed to help us do everything with ease and with a big smile and lots of reassurance.
We got married almost six months ago and we finally had the time to visit her studio to get our wedding album completed, and that whole experience and having her walking us through everything and making things work to make us happy was much appreciated. Given the opportunity I have recommended her to many of my friends who are planning their wedding in the years to come. Thanks again for everything Lisa!!!!

I've had the pleasure of working with Lisa on two occasions. I first met Lisa when she photographed my sisters wedding a few years back. Her style and eye for a creative picture was amazing. I loved my sisters final pictures so it was a no brainer to hire her to photograph my own wedding. From start to finish Lisa was easy to talk to and replied quickly to any questions or messages id send her. Her professionalism is amazing and is obvious with her organized website and contracts. I was lucky to get a two for one deal- both Lisa and her lovely husband photographed our wedding. They are so comedic that their ability to make us all laugh put us to ease. My husband hates getting his picture taken but he was even laughing and cracking jokes. He told me later that he was amazed that he felt comfortable. The final pictures we received were literally breathtaking. Each picture is a piece of art and we will treasure the beautiful memories for many years to come. We recommend Lisa's services to any future bride looking to release the reins because you'll be in great hands if Lisa is your photographer. She is an amazing artist and we are so grateful to have been blessed with her talented work. Love you!!!

Lisa was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was very flexible and highly accommodating, as our wedding was an elopement-style ceremony. My husband and I decided to get married before moving to China (with only two weeks' notice) and Lisa planned our photo shoot, chose the location, and turned our winter wedding into what looked like the most magical tropical getaway. She also designed our photo album and had it ready for us before our trip, and the quality of her work is absolutely stunning. We will be working with her again for our reception in the future!

Nothing I could write could describe how amazing of a photographer Lisa is. We worked with Lisa for our engagement and wedding photos. She was always very professional and incredibly prompt with emails. We were really blown away by her extensive expertise of different photo locations and churches in the GTA (knowing all the fees of popular areas, restrictions of churches etc). She let us schedule our engagement shots so last minute. She delivered our engagement and wedding photos so fast, even at peak wedding season! Lisa was so great to work with, she made us feel so comfortable and had great attention to detail. I loved how well she worked with the videographers and handled the challenge of doing our wedding photos in a crowded tourist area and super hot day. Our photos turned out absolutely stunning and almost magical as I have no idea how she got some of her shots! Some of our favourite pictures are the ones where she whisked us away for literally just 5 minutes, maybe less. Her album making process was very thorough to ensure we were completely happy and the album print/canvases were such high quality. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone. We are beyond thrilled to have such beautiful wedding photos to remember such happy memories. She went immeasurably above and beyond all of our wildest dreams and expectations!

Lisa was AMAZING!! She helped make our special day an incredible one! We were over the moon delighted with her talent and expertise! Lisa did such a wonderful job perfectly capturing our special moments, our wedding style, as well as keeping us on track! She didn’t miss a thing! Her attention to fine detail and the quality of her work far exceeded our expectations! I can’t tell you how many times we have gone back and looked at our pictures. Lisa was also amazing when it came to helping us find a package that best suited us and always got back to me right away if I ever had any questions for her. She took the time to go over everything we envisioned for both our engagement and wedding day pictures and made us feel comfortable and at ease. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer.

We would recommend Lisa to anyone in a heartbeat! We can’t wait for her to capture the “next” stages of our lives (whenever that time may come) ;)

Lisa went above and beyond, exceeded all of our expectations, and especially was raved by many guests at our wedding! She made us feel reassured by being extremely helpful and being very detailed-oriented when it came time to planning what we had envisioned for our special day. Her time, encouragement, professionalism, and great personality truly made us feel comfortable and at ease at all times. This was not only evident to us, but also recognized by our close family and friends! =) Her work is amazing and she is absolutely talented! All of our friends and family absolutely loved all the engagement shots that she took of us which were displayed all throughout our venue. Her hard work and dedication really made our wedding day as perfect as it was! Capturing this milestone was very important to us and Lisa (along with Alfred) truly made that happen! She was always so flexible and accommodating to all of our needs. Despite the super hot weather (literally the hottest day of this year!), Lisa still made everything work so smoothly and we can't express how much we appreciated her patience, her perseverance, and especially her keen eyes for shooting awesome shots! She was amazing from the start to end and we are so excited and can't wait to see all our photos soon! She is the number one photographer we would highly recommend and there is no doubt in our minds that she always ends up with timeless and memorable photos for you (and everyone else to see) to cherish always and forever!

Lisa Mark Photography did a fantastic job capturing our engagement and wedding photos. The husband-wife team dynamic was amazing and allowed for some great moments captured! We were so pleased with our engagement photos and are very excited to receive our wedding photos in the coming weeks. Lisa & Justin are two awesome photographers who combine a blend of both traditional and modern photography with a unique artistic touch. They truly valued what was important to us and would always try to accommodate us while always having a keen eye for capturing creative moments.
