Located in Belleville, Ontario, Macpherson Images offers beautiful, natural wedding photography. Led by Alastair Macpherson, the business captures real people and their emotions in their wedding day photography. The images that Alastair takes reflect his documentary-style photojournalism influence. Rather than relying on Photoshop, he produces high-quality photos using natural light and gorgeous surroundings.

Experience

After receiving an advanced diploma in photography in 2007, Alastair became a member of The British Institute of Professional Photography and The Professional Wedding Photographers of Canada. Formerly based out of London, New York, and Toronto, Alastair moved to Ontario and continued his passion and creativity in wedding and portraiture photography.

Services Offered

Alastair covers one event per day to ensure complete focus for each client. Multi-location shoots are provided. The business offers wedding photography packages that include the following services:

How They Work

Alastair uses two Pro Sony Alpha A7III Camera, Sony Zeiss 35mm 1.4, Sony Zeiss 16-35mm, Sony FE 85mm 1.8, a flash kit, and various Hasselblad lenses with digital SLR. His photo edits include covering slight blemishes, teeth brightening, minor retouching, adjusting the saturation and lighting, and cropping for composition. For an eight-hour package, couples will receive 500-750 images within six weeks of the wedding date.

Creative post-wedding sessions are also available. In addition to wedding photography, Alastair specializes in portraiture photography.

Macpherson Images offers services in Prince Edward County and the surrounding areas. There is no travel fee up to 200kms. Alastair is available to travel for destination weddings and events.
