Based out of Toronto, Marlen James is a professional photographer, makeup artist, and master "photoshopper" who specializes in boudoir, glamour, pinup, portrait, and wedding photography. Her images reflect a modern portraiture style. Marlen James Photography is a one-stop shop for makeup, photos, and retouching -- with complete privacy. Marlen makes her subject absolutely comfortable in front of the camera. Along with Marlen, the team is made up of Melissa Aquino (associate photographer) and Linda Arki (associate photographer and videographer).

Experience

Marlen James worked at Glamour Shots in the mall from 2000-2002 after graduating from a Graphic and Editorial Design program in 1999. While on maternity leave, she began doing family and baby photography and gradually moved to wedding photography as a second shooter. In 2006, she started boudoir and glamour photography.
