2SLGBTQIA+ Friendly Photographer!

We were looking for photographers who were 2SLGBTQIA+ friendly and who would make us feel safe and comfortable on our day. We wanted an editing style that had natural colours. We found all of this and more with Megan's team!!

When we found Megan’s work, everything looked really fun! We loved that there was such a great variety of smiling people and that the colours were vibrant. We also loved how many people included their pets!

We were most nervous about posing, but Amanda made the posing part so easy - we just felt like we were hanging out outside with a friend, which is exactly what we wanted.

We love the candid moments and the moments where you can tell the smile is genuine. Amanda putting us at ease really helped with this. Photography is 100% worth it for a wedding expense, and the team made everything so easy. We can feel that both Megan and Amanda love what they do.

Every time we look at our photos we are transported back to our dreamy and perfect day!

Best Photography/Videography Team!!

Hiring Megan Maundrell Photography was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very first interaction, we knew Megan was the perfect photographer for us. We connected so naturally, and she made a genuine effort to get to know us, making us feel like friends rather than clients.

Flawless Wedding Photographers

We had Giulia for our Hamilton, ON wedding. The communication was amazing, pricing was more than reasonable, and the team just brought great vibes the whole way through the process. Not having a wedding planner and doing everything on my own, I knew that photography was something I did not have to worry about once signing the contract. The photos had a quick turnaround so we had them ready to view when we came back from our Honeymoon! They all turned out so beautifully! I highly recommend them for your wedding!

Wonderful experience!!

First stumbling onto Megan’s work, I thought it was striking, unique, and authentic - not overly staged or posed. All the couples seemed to be genuinely so happy and in the moment, it was like the camera wasn’t even there.
This translated into working with Megan, as she made us feel so comfortable and confident, as well as helping us relax and enjoy the moment - things I was initially worried about when booking a photographer.
Megan was able to perfectly capture our vision - it was a perfect combination of specific things we wanted to do and prompted moments that we didn’t expect. She was able to capture how completely in love we are and how incredibly happy we were in the moment.

Bright, realistic, authentic, wedding photos!

We were looking for someone to capture authentic shots of us on our day with a nice bright, realistic style. It was also important we found someone we liked as a person, as we’d be spending most of our wedding day with them. Megan knocked it out of the park on both accounts!

We knew after our zoom consultation that she was the right photographer for us. It was easy to chat with her, she answered ALL our questions, and it just felt like she “got” us. I reccomend doing an engagement shoot as it was lovely to meet her and get a sense of how photo shoots work, haha. I also love having beautiful photos of my partner and me in our non-wedding clothes.

Our wedding day was fantastic and Megan made us feel so comfortable as she captured everything. It was so easy working with her, we didn’t even really notice she was there! Our friends thought she was just another one of the guests taking photos.

Megan is easy going, professional, knowledgeable, and made our day stress-free, and fun. Not to mention, the pictures are gorgeous and she captured so many heartfelt moments between us and our friends & family. Thank you!

So many great photos, I can't pic one favourite!

When first searching for photographers, I was just searching for anyone local. I heard many horror stories of photographers not showing up on time, photos getting corrupted, or being withheld.
When I first found Megan, I thought her photos were stunning. Megan markets herself as a person behind the camera, which really helped to build trust. We knew she was the photographer for us when she had the best price without sacrificing the quality of her work!
During the wedding, Megan was always open to trying out ideas we had. She was very laid back and was a quiet observer of everything that happened, which made amazing candid photos throughout the day that we absolutely love.

Great experience + stunning photos

I haven’t worked with many photographers in the past, so I really wasn’t sure what to look for or expect.

I was a little concerned about being awkward in front of a camera. My fiancé and I have never gotten professional photos together, so we weren’t sure how it would go as we’re both a bit camera shy.

But, working with Amanda was great. I didn’t really want anything too cheesy or cliche, and Amanda had great ideas that I really liked. She was calming, fun, motivating, and most importantly made us feel comfortable. 100% would work with her and Megan again!

I absolutely love how Amanda captured the most natural moments between my fiancé and I. You can really see the love my fiancé and I share for each other and that’s really special to me. I now have priceless memories captured on film that I can look at everyday.

Amazing experience

We have hired Megan to do our wedding photos. We did an engagement session,then had her do some family photos. The day of our family photos it was raining, our 2 year old had a fever and runny nose. I was expecting a disaster. When we got our photos I literally cried. They were beautiful, and all my fears about my wedding photos have disappeared.
