Back in Action

I have been away for a few years, most of which were spent working in tourism and photography while living along the Caribbean Cost of Costa Rica. This area is rich in culture and the Gandoca Wildlife Reserve is world-renowned for the bio-diversified rainforest bordered by pristine Caribbean beaches. I have returned to Nova Scotia with fresh ideas and even more invigoration toward sharing my creativity and skills with others. I will be offering my photographic services and over the coming winter working on obtaining my formal travel certification to better serve my destination wedding and custom travel tour clients.

The Big Picture

I am currently living along the South Shore of Nova Scotia, Canada. I am currently offering my photographic services to couples planning a ceremony here in Nova Scotia in addition to couples saying “I Do” in destinations near or far. I have vast experience with weddings and special events and bring my creativity and natural talent to create a collection of images that capture the essence of the celebration. My visual expression of a couple’s day is designed with elements to reflect the distinct style and atmosphere they have created. With over two decades of photographic experience under my belt and a passport full of stamps; I can share not just my photographic experience but can offer insight and advice during the planning process to those who feel they would benefit. For some, tapping into that experience can be helpful by presenting real-life examples of things that I have seen work really well or insight about situations or influencing factors that brought challenges. I can even warn of potential photographic disasters... Like the sunlight beaming off the shining forehead of a squinting soon-to-be newlywed trying to get a glimpse of the love of their life... or how the shadows of that love hide the joy on their face. I am more than happy to share my preview of the big picture before the big day.

Tailored To Fit

Wedding attire is something that many need tailored to help it fit just right. I like working with couples to see what they measure as most important and how they would like to have those moments captured. Getting a feel for what the couple feels most passionate about as a whole, provides a baseline measurement to custom-fit a package that works best for them. Cost is the only thing that I ask my clients to consider before contracting my services. Factors like personal style, versatility with variables and pre-production planning also come into account. My goal when crafting a custom photo plan is to create a photographic itinerary for us to use as a guide. Simplicity is oftentimes the truly ultimate expression of taste and sophistication. So... here is a simple guideline of how we can determine your photographic plan & budget together.

Photographic Services (Hourly)

For every hour of onsite photographic services also included is a proofing gallery, basic post-production processing for 60 images, and up to 1GB of digital image file space on a USB drive or delivered by file transfer. (Travel Time & Expenses not included)

Photographic Services (Half Day)

3 hours of onsite photographic services also included is a proofing gallery, basic post-production processing for 200 images, and up to 3 GB of digital image file space on a USB drive or delivered by file transfer. (Travel Time & Expenses not included)

Photographic Services (Full Day)

6 hours of onsite photographic services also included is a proofing gallery, basic post-production processing for 600 images, and up to 6 GB of digital image file space on a USB drive or delivered by file transfer. (Travel Time & Expenses not included)

Pre-Wedding Portrait Session
