Jenna really puts the bride’s needs first and always tries to accommodate our ideas. She’s very bubbly and high-energy, and ensures your day will be less stress and lots of fun! She is very creative with her photos and uses a method that keeps people comfortable and not stiff in photos! Her team is incredible as well, my husband was very happy with the vibes from her second shooter who was with him for much of the day. So excited to see what they captured from our day!!

My husband and I eloped to Niagara Falls so our needs were quite different from most couples having a traditional wedding ceremony and reception. The husband and wife team behind Phototrait worked with us so we could figure out the best package, price, and setting for our out-of-the-ordinary wedding experience. My husband and I aren't used to getting our photos taken, but we felt comfortable almost immediately during the shoots and I loved almost every single photo taken. We had a fantastic day at a few different locations and now we have absolutely gorgeous photos to share with our friends and family who weren't invited to the ceremony! The photo book that Phototrait offers is also beyond beautifully done and incredibly customizable. I can't recommend Phototrait highly enough! I want them at every special occasion!

We loved working with Phototrait! We have worked with Jenna four times now (engagement (Feb 2020), celebration of original wedding day (Sept 2020), vow ceremony (2021) and reception (2022). Jenna provides outstanding service and her enthusiasm when you meet her in person is contagious. Her wedding package is probably one of the best deals you can get. She is a highly skilled photographer and we are so happy that we went with Phototrait for our special day!

If your looking at the length of this review, it’s because I have so many good things to say. Jenna is absolutely amazing, I can’t recommend Phototrait enough. So much so, I have trusted her with every huge milestone since my engagement photographed by her.

We first met Jenna at a friend’s destination wedding. After spending an entire week with her, I knew I would hire her to be the photographer at my own wedding one day. Once I got engaged, the whole process discussing the details of our wedding and obtaining quotes was a piece of cake.

We then booked an engagement photoshoot with Jenna. This was great as it gave us an idea what to expect when we were taking photos on our wedding day. It also gave us an opportunity to figure out what we liked and didn’t like. My husband and I had never had a photoshoot done before so we realized we preferred more candid shots over really posed ones so Jenna took that into account for our day as well.

We chose to have a destination wedding but also had a small legal ceremony here in Canada. We hired Jenna to capture photos at both weddings. The first Canadian wedding took place in a barn. The way she captured the light shining through the old barn boards was absolutely stunning. And in Mexico, she felt like she was just another one of our guests, that’s how friendly and outgoing she is. Everyone adored her. She was there to capture moments of the entire week, from foam and champagne parties in the pool, to private dinners with friends and family. And the day of the wedding, Jenna was so incredibly helpful and made sure everyone was on time and sticking to schedule to ensure all the getting ready photos and first look photos were captured before the ceremony. Jenna has such a gentle way of guiding people for those big group shots as well. She kindly redirected our guests to make sure the photos looked perfect.

Shortly after our wedding, we received sneak peek photos. I loved getting these and gave me so much to look forward to seeing the rest. Once our photos were all ready, her digital albums are so simple to go through and so easy to share with your friends and family. You can also hide photos you don’t want people to see as well as favourite the photos you love.

Since the photos from our wedding(s) turned out so beautifully, we couldn’t not have Jenna photograph our baby bump shoot as well as newborn photos. We will continue to use Phototrait without a doubt and I cannot recommend Jenna enough.

We hired Jenna for our weeding photography and she blew us away! Her organization and professionalism were outstanding. She really listened to what we wanted and captured every moment beautifully while keeping us on schedule. She made sure to remind us to soak up every moment and even made a suggestion to plan some alone time after the ceremony for some photos and to take it all in.This was one of our favourite moments of the day! We received so many compliments from our guests about her and the service she provided. Our photos were delivered in a timely manner and we were thrilled with the results. We hired Phototrait again for our family photos and were equally as happy with her talents and fun personality. We felt so comfortable with her and I think that is what matters most when capturing such intimate moments. I will be working with her again for my headshots ! Highly recommend!

Jenna and her team were amazing to work with! They made everyone feel so comfortable, and encouraged us to be silly and have fun. Going through our photos together was thrilling, each image brought us right back to our wedding day. So many of our guests were raving about our photography team and how beautiful our photos are. We've been recommending Phototrait all over the place because our wedding would not have been the same without them.

We hired Niagara Wedding Co. for our wedding and unfortunately had an incredibly negative experience. Despite being promised timely delivery of our photos, video, and photo album, we did not receive any of these until a year later. Communication was non-existent—our calls, texts, and emails went completely ignored for three months. Never received photo album that we payed for.

I just wanted to start off by saying that both Jenna and Hunter, are amazing, down to earth people. They are truly masters of their craft and did a phenomenal job with our engagement photos, wedding photos, and our wedding albums. We couldn’t be happier with the way things turned out and their work exceeded our expectations. The detail in their work is incredible and our album, as well as our family albums are amazing. They were very organized and experienced throughout the entire process from beginning to end, and made our special day that much more special. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, everything was perfect! Thank you guys.

Jenna and Hunter are the most amazing team! They were so patient and attentive throughout our 4-year COVID engagement, Jenna shot sensational engagement photos for us, and Hunter shot stunning wedding photos for us in Jamaica! We honestly couldn’t believe our eyes when we saw our photos, we already had high expectations and they far exceeded them! These two went above and beyond to take care of us; they made special note of our requests and worked so hard to make them happen for us. Jenna and Hunter took such great care of our wedding when social distancing and gathering limits were still very much a thing! They came in with such enthusiasm to help take great pictures for us, but also help with some of the wedding planning. Without Jenna, our attempt to get group pictures while socially distancing would never have happened! Thank you not only for taking AMAZING PHOTOS that we will treasure for all our lives, but for being an amazing help in a very confusing and chaotic time!
