WOW! Stunning photos

Katlin was truly amazing. Here photos were right out of a dream and a story book of a prince and princess. Her pricing as excellent and she went above and beyond. We are already planning to have her take our first anniversy photos!!

Highly recommend for anyone looking for a photographer!

Working with Kat was wonderful from start to finish. She was the first photographer I found and messaged with when planning our elopement, and after our first video call I knew right away she was the right choice for us.

Kaitlyn took her time to really understand our vision for the photos and what we wanted the day to feel like. She had different props including a beautiful canoe, and took us to various landscapes to make sure we got a wide array of photos we loved.

She has an extremely calming and warm energy, once you meet her it feels like you’ve known her for years. As someone who doesn’t typically enjoy photos, I really appreciated her presence and ability to get me out of my comfort zone in a natural and comfortable way.

We’ve kept in contact even long after our wedding. She truly makes the experience feel like she is a lifelong friend just there to celebrate with you and make sure you have beautiful photos to love for years to come.

I highly recommend Kaitlyn to anyone looking for a photographer ❤️

Kaitlyn there are no words for the experience and artwork you have provided and created for us! You truly made the experience of wedding planning seamless and we’re always there to answer any questions we had right away. The magic, comfortability, and love we felt from you is undeniably one of those memories we will cherish forever. Blissful Enjoyment

I highly recommend Kaitlyn for photography services. She has an eye for creating the most special additions to your wedding day! I thoroughly enjoyed working with her as she is just as excited to capture the event as you probably are. Not once did it feel like this person was there just because I was paying her. I also wanted to do something a little out of the ordinary/vintage and she approached it with a very creative and open-minded attitude. I hired both her and her videographer partner and they made the whole event go so smoothly. If you are getting married in and around Canmore/Banff, you're in luck because she knows and has scouted all the most beautiful locations. They were also amazing for adhering to my timeline and doubled as a wedding planner. I did not have to worry about anything while I was with them as they respected my desired locations/shots while also remaining carefree and fun! The most important thing is being able to enjoy your wedding/not stress out and I guarantee you'll be able to achieve that with Owl Eye Photography! I don't need to mention the actual photos taken as they speak for themselves, check out her gallery!

The BEST Photographer EVER!

When I first connected with Kaitlyn to photograph our 2023 Kananaskis wedding, I had no idea the incredible impact she would have on my life. I quickly realized through our conversations that not only would she be the perfect photographer to capture our day but also what an amazing, honest, genuine and wonderful person Kaitlyn really is.

Upon planning our wedding, I ended up needing to take some time away from work to focus on my mental health struggles. Kaitlyn was so understanding of my situation, and she went above and beyond to make me feel like I wasn’t alone in my struggles when she had no obligation to do. From video chatting me to check in on me and just messaging me with so much energy keeping the wedding excitement alive, I couldn’t help but form a beautiful friendship with her.

Kaitlyn is extremely knowledgeable about the Kananaskis area and you will find her out canoeing, hiking, and exploring new locations for upcoming shoots and weddings when she has free time. She knows some of the most breathtaking spots for photos and took us to some beautiful hidden areas off the beaten path which was so fun! (Did I mention she brought drinks and snacks?! She’s that good!) In addition, Kaitlyn was incredibly helpful in securing many of the other vendors we needed to find in the area - officiant, dj, hair/makeup; which were all so great! - she knows and has worked with them in the past which made it a super easy process coordinating with everyone. Kaitlyn was always asking how she can help and take stress off us. She maintained contact with my vendors for planning purposes and made sure everyone was on the same page for the wedding day timeline. I was so impressed with her ability to coordinate a large group of people for photos and quickly - she can definitely “herd the cats” and get sh*t done!! She made sure all the vendors received photos showcasing their respective work after the wedding which was a very thoughtful touch she added that I appreciated. She is incredibly organized and passionate about providing her clients with a super memorable experience. She is always willing to work with her clients so they are completely satisfied with their experience with Owl Eye and takes so much pride in how she runs her business and the work she puts out there.

Kaitlyn captured everything on our wedding day so beautifully!!! The small detail photos, first look with my dad, ceremony photos, bridal party and family photos, reception, and our couples’ portraits - all absolutely stunning!! Every time we look at them, we are overjoyed reliving the intimate details she captured of our wedding day. We will forever cherish the photos Kaitlyn took of us to remember the feelings and memories of that day so vividly. We are so honoured to have had Kaitlyn with us on this adventure and cannot thank her enough for all the help, support, advice, understanding, suggestions, photography, friendship and love on this journey. Love her to bits

Kat is an amazing person, inside and out. She was a part of our journey up until the wedding and did a phenomenal job. Everyone commented on how amazing she was and her photos match. So thankful we were able to meet this amazing person and honoured to have her do our photos.

Kaitlyn was our wedding photographer in Bragg Creek. She created such a fun atmosphere for us throughout the day and wasn't hesitant to be adventurous at our location at Elbow Falls. She was great to work with leading up to the wedding with making decisions and preparing. Then we kept in touch after with other projects and now it feels more like we gained a friend. Really enthusiastic and up for anything - went above and beyond with the service. Brought so much energy and positivity to the day, just like spending the day with a friend. So glad she helped make our day so special. As an elopement it was really important to have such a friendly photographer. Really put us at ease instantly. Can't recommend her highly enough!

Eloping in Tahoe

Kat is the best! We planned to get married in Banff Canada and booked Kat but had to move it to Lake Tahoe California. Kat was so flexible and accommodating and met us in Tahoe! She scouted the area and found THE BEST spots for our photos. I wanted a photographer to make us feel comfortable (as we aren't used to having our pictures taken) and she was just that. We loved spending time with her and her work product was what dreams are made of. Kat also went above and beyond on every aspect, she was flexible, fun and great with communication.

You'll be in good hands with Owl Eye! 📸

Please remember as you read the following that the two of us would consider ourselves quite the opposite of photogenic. We don't take selfies, and we are generally uncomfortable having our pictures taken at all. So pleasing us was a pretty tall order.

We needn't have worried going with Kaitlyn and Owl Eye Photography.

She listened to what we were trying to go for, and had the vision to make it happen. Her familiarity with the location we were getting married proved invaluable, as even after scouting around ourselves she was able to suggest better places that captured the natural beauty and majestic splendour of Banff perfectly, while avoiding any distractions or hazards. We are older and weren't going to be climbing mountain peaks and she took that into consideration making sure we could access vistas that were just as breathtaking.

Any concerns we might have had about Kaitlyn needing to use heavy editing or filters to get us looking halfway decent turned out to be unnecessary. She takes her time to set up each shot with forethought in mind and as a result when at last she completed fine-tuning each picture we were presented with an array of images that looked better than we could have hoped; we looked natural, we looked like "us".

Though we only needed a very basic filming of the events, we were glad that Owl Eye sourced a videographer to allow Kaitlyn to fully focus her attention on achieving the perfect shots. She's friendly and easy to talk to, and fortunately worked hand in hand with our officiant just like they did this together every day, even though they'd only just met! It couldn't have gone smoother and more hassle-free.

We still gush over our pictures months later. If Owl Eye was able to get *us* to do that, I'm confident that they can work with you to capture your special moments in ways you'll be happy to revisit for the rest of your days.
