Patrycja here - the owner of Photo42.

I specialize in candid and unobtrusive, yet still very flattering wedding photography. I just moved to Truro, Nova Scotia and I am available to photograph weddings throughout the province.

If you choose to work with me, here is a few things about me that I think you will enjoy knowing:

1. I am 93% optimist
2. I make killer home-made wine and grow lavender in my backyard.
3. I am an expert in finding happiness in the little things in life.
4. I have a dream to move outside the city, open my own winery along with a cozy and quirky B&B, build a huge studio with natural light and have enough space for another border collie (at the moment I only have one dog, 2 Siamese cats, empty carboys, a notebook full of recipes and great photography equipment).
5. I surround myself with positive people because life is too short to not be enjoyed whenever possible.

6. Some of my favorite series are “The Young Pope”, “The Handmaid’s Tale” (especially the first 3 seasons), “Mindhunter”, “Homeland”, “The Good Fight”, “Vikings” ( because of Vikings ), and an old classic “Northern Exposure”

7. Aside from photography, I also love social science. I became a photographer only after completing my MA in Sociology.

8. I believe in Love. Period. A few years ago, it struck me really hard and without delays, I packed my life in one suitcase and moved to Canada to be with Chris. Zero regrets! We are still going strong and make each other laugh out loud. We also usually photograph weddings together.
