Meet the team
Hi, I'm Viara.
I was always artsy, but I pursued a career in science, because that was then and this is now.
After getting a Master's in Neuroscience, and a PhD in Behavioural Genetics (studying parenting), I lived in the Netherlands for two years to do more research. I fell in love with Dutch culture.
When I came back to Kingston with my husband and three kids, we started a hobby farm.
Around this time, when trying to pay the bills by teaching occasional courses at Queen's University, I decided there must be a better way.
I began my career as a professional photographer in October 2015, when photographing the birth of a baby, and I've never looked back.
