Owned by award-winning photographer Ranya Alsabt, R.A. Photography specializes in wedding and lifestyle photography. Ranya’s light and fun approach enables her to beautifully capture all of the romantic and joyful moments of your wedding day. After graduating from high school, she received her first DSLR from her mother and fell in love with capturing the beauty of life. This motivated her to establish R.A. Photography. Ranya’s photography style has been described as modern vintage. She shoots with modern equipment, but during post-production she likes to implement the look of vintage film. Ranya has received several accolades, including making the Wedding Industry Expert 2014 Honour Roll, being honoured in the Wedding Industry Experts 2016 Awards and the WeddingWire Bride’s Choice Awards 2016, and winning The Dot Photo Contest. DIY Bride, My Big Fat Indian Wedding, The Wedding Opera, and Weddingful have featured her work.

Services offered

R.A. Photography offers three wedding packages which vary in terms of services and pricing. All packages include an engagement session, eight hours of wedding day photo coverage, high-resolution edits, an album, and more. All engagement shoots are done on location in the Greater Toronto Area, and couples will receive their high-resolution edited images on DVD prior to the wedding day. How they work

During the first meeting with couples, Ranya discusses the theme of the shoot. She then creates a visual story of your day based around that theme and a couple’s preferences. Ranya starts by shooting photos of the bride’s preparations while Rami photographs the groom and his entourage getting ready. Coverage of the ceremony is followed by family photos and fun photos with the bridal party. Shots of the bride and groom alone are taken for 45 minutes to an hour after the family and bridal party photos. Ranya will then conclude the day by photographing the reception.
