Meet the team
Nice to meet you! Art is a passion for everyone in my family. I’m a wedding photographer with a passion for environmental portraiture. Being a connection photographer means I create scenarios that allow couples to connect on a deeper level. It’s the reason my work is often described as emotive. My love of environmental portraiture gives your gallery variety. I love capturing the scenery around you and you will find a lot of nature and greenery in my work.
It’s such a joy to be a wedding photographer. I get to work with people who are madly in love. They have experienced struggles and share their joys. Like me, they believe in the power of unconditional love. I will laugh with you and cry with you during your session or wedding! My clients are wonderful people and I am so grateful to be a part of their love stories. Sometimes, I get to photograph their engagement, wedding, and then the first addition to their families!
One of my biggest joys is mentoring for Clickin Moms. I love being part of an online community for photographers to create, share, and learn. I’ve taken to many workshops and breakouts with Click Photo School and I have met so many lifelong friends on the forums! Helping other photographers, being a teaching assistant and creating my own breakout has been a wonderful adventure as a Mentor.
I currently live in a tiny home on the ocean in Sooke, BC, Canada. I’ve lived in Nanaimo, Vancouver, Vernon, Kelowna, and Victoria. Traveling is one of my favourite luxuries. I’ve traveled through Europe and almost all of Central America. Cooper is my partner in crime. He is a big Bernese Mountain Dog x Black Lab who likes to go mountain biking and hiking with me. When I‘m not photographing weddings, I run a non-profit and coach basketball. I love volunteering in my community. I’m also an elected councillor for the District of Sooke. Being directly involved in the day-to-day changes of a small and fast-growing community is an honor and a bit of a thrill at times!
Feel free to use this contact page to connect – ask me anything! I’m an open book.
