HI, WE’RE ROSEWOOD STUDIOS

What we love most about what we do is our ability to be storytellers. With each wedding, family, and event that we photograph our goal is to bring your stories to life by capturing genuine and honest photos. More than anything, we love to make our clients happy by simply capturing their love. We aim to create an experience that our clients can cherish forever.

We support the Black Lives Matter movement. We honour our Indigenous roots and community, and we wholeheartedly support everybody and every body regardless of shape, colour, size, and every form of love (2SLGBTQIA+).

We’re not perfect, but we’re always learning and trying our best to improve. We hope to create a space where anyone and everyone feels comfortable sharing their love, their stories, and their happiness with us.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT OUR PHOTOGRAPHIC STYLE

It took us a couple of years to really find our “voice” as wedding photographers, but we truly believe that our work is the perfect balance of both candid and formal. We like to be as unobtrusive as possible during events, capturing organic and real moments as they happen before us. With that said... all three of us are portrait photographers, so we will never pass down an opportunity to create beautiful images with our couples if we find just the right light and just the right pose!

We don’t do any kind of heavy retouching or manipulation to our photos, we believe that less is more when it comes to a photograph. We also shoot to our environment; if it’s a bright day then your photos will reflect that. If there’s a moody storm brewing behind you, you can bet we’ll keep those details in the photos too.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE CLIENTS WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Being fully present throughout your complete wedding planning process (before, during, and after) is important to us, which is why we only take on a limited number of weddings per season. This gives us the flexibility to truly invest in our relationship together, and focus on you.

Creating a genuine connection with our couples is incredibly important to us! We’re looking for easy going people who get giddy thinking about each other, who we can joke with, and who can turn a ‘quick meeting’ into a 2 hour brunch. We want couples who are over the moon with each other, and who send us unprompted recipes, Netflix recommendations, and photos of their pets. Couples who think they talk about their partner too much (you’re not, don’t worry, we want to hear everything!), couples who don’t mind going outside in a little bit of rain, who are adventurous, and who aren’t afraid to share embarrassing stories with us (believe us, we have plenty to share too)!

Above all else, we are looking for couples and families who trust us. Clients who have gone through our work and understand the type of photos we deliver, the magic we create, and who genuinely love who we are and what we do!
