I met Selina at a wedding show, I was immediately drawn to her natural/candid style of photos. We hired Selina for our wedding and she made the whole planning process so smooth, working with us to create a package that gave us everything we wanted and stayed in our budget and helped me out with timelines for the itinerary prior to the big day. Neither my husband or I love being the centre of attention but she had a way of getting us to relax and have fun with the photos. Selina was so fun to work with, laid back and everyone at the wedding loved her! We are so happy with the pictures - they are clear and very professional looking yet captured everyones personality and the events of the night perfectly! I cannot recommend her enough and would definitely hire Selina again.

We had been following Selina's work for a few years until she shot our wedding. A lot of my friends had used her for their weddings as well as some business owners and we always loved her work. We said one day, when we finally get married, we were going to call Selina. Finally that time came and she was my first phone call to make sure she was available for our date and she was! There are so many bad and cheesy wedding photos out there and that's definitely not what you get from her. They are so natural, candid and I love the editing that she does after, it was totally our style and the look and feel we were going for. I constantly look back at our wedding photos, and fall in love with them all over again and discover new ones that are my favourites, there are so many, it's hard to choose! She also did the photobooth for our wedding and she put together a memorable slideshow after, our guests had a lot of fun with it! We have also hired Selina to do our professional headshots, twice, each time she had great suggestions of what we could do and where. She made us look really great and natural, which is hard to do in real estate and let us incorporate our pup Roxie. Again we loved all the photos and had a hard time narrowing the list for her to edit. Selina has also done our maternity shoot (seriously so amazing how she captured that day), newborn shoot and when our little guy turned 7 months, she's is our photographer for life!
Not only is it important to find a great photographer, but also one who knows how to edit the pictures after, in the style you want, Selina and her team does it all.

Selina was recommended to me by a friend in the event planning industry and she more than lived up to her reputation. The sample albums she sent us prior to hiring her were absolutely gorgeous! She offered some flexibility with her packages, which as a budget conscious bride, helped a great deal. She was also inctedibly helpful during the planning process – I had a few minor panic attacks when other events happening in the city threatened to infringe on some of our photo locations, but Selina was able to talk me down and made some great suggestions that helped me come up with solutions and ultimately made the day as stress-free as possible. On the day of, she and her assistant Lauren were phenomenal. So friendly and easy to work with. My husband and I are not super comfortable in front of a camera and were worried there would be an awkward vibe during the photos, but Selina and Lauren were so professional and easy-going, it was easy to relax around them. Several guests mentioned to me after the wedding as well that they loved how many candid moments she was able to capture throughout the night. I will definitely keep Selina’s number handy for any future photography needs.

We were so lucky to find Selina to do our engagement photos and wedding photos! She is an extremely talented photographer always catching the perfect lighting, big smiles, and beautiful scenery. My photos literally look like fairy tale scenes!! She really made me look and feel so beautiful for both the engagement and wedding photos. She captured romantic moments as well as funny and candid shots of my husband and me goofing around - the perfect balance.

We worked with her throughout COVID and she was completely on board for making adjustments based on the restrictions. She was so understanding throughout the whole process and was extremely responsive and flexible.

One thing that really struck me when we first met was her calming presence. She is so sweet and softspoken, which on a stressful day like a wedding is very much needed! She was also great at wrangling my family and friends for photos throughout the entire wedding event. It really felt like we were hanging out with an old friend when we were with her and all of our guests kept commenting on how amazing she was.

We first connected with Selina over six years ago when she photographed our good friend’s wedding. We were blown away by the beauty of her photographs and knew she had to be the one to photograph our upcoming wedding. Our engagement shoot was up first and, despite it being a freezing cold day in March at Princess Point in Hamilton and our first time in front of the camera together, she and her assistant made us look relaxed, in love and warm! Our wedding day went off without a hitch thanks to her efficiency and quiet, behind-the-scenes documentation of the day. Our favourite photo is one where we are walking hand-in-hand away from the camera - the soft street lighting, the sun setting - she just got it. It still brings tears to my eyes when I look at it today - that photo alone captures how we felt that day and brings back those memories every time we see it.
