Shannon and her team were amazing to have on our wedding day. The images are stunning but beyond that she made taking photos so fun! Her communication is excellent and she is so easy to work with. I would not hesitate to highly recommend her as your wedding photographer.

We were fortunate enough to have someone recommend Shannon. For as stressful as planning a wedding can be, Shannon made the photography portion so much easier. The morning of the wedding we both felt so comfortable with Shannon and her mom Iveah as they let us enjoy time with our friends and family while taking beautiful posed and casual photos. We were able to truly enjoy our day while they captured every moment inside and out. During our first look and for our first shots as husband and wife, they gave us the chance to enjoy ourselves and let us guide much of the process. It was great to have these moments feel natural and organic and I believe that shows in our beautiful photos. So many of our guests commented on the amazing video collage Shannon put together before dinner and I still love to watch it and reminisce about the day.

Shannon is not only a very talented photographer, she is also an amazing person. My husband hates getting his picture taken so he was very nervous when I told him that we would not only have wedding photos done, but also engagement pictures. We met up with Shannon in Canmore and as soon as we met her we both started to relax and really enjoy the session. Shannon is so good at making you feel comfortable in the photos. When I look back at both the engagement photos and the wedding photos I can tell it is us. She captured our personalities in a way that I didn’t think was possible. She gave direction only when we looked awkward, this allowed us to just be natural and ourselves and this came through in the photos. We had so much fun goofing around and joking with Shannon. The wedding day was even better! Shannon and her mom came to the house and got some amazing candid shots that captured our amazing day. I had a malfunction with my wedding dress where instead of having a dramatic reveal of my dress to my bridesmaids, they all were gathered around me literally sewing buttons back onto my dress! Shannon got some amazing photos of the ordeal and helped to keep the vibe calm, cool and collected. Again, all our wedding photos capture the fun and joy of the day. Whenever I look at them I am transported back to the best day ever. We all look so happy, relaxed and natural. One of the highlights for all the guests (and for my husband and I) was when Shannon projected some of the photos from the day during the reception. It was so great to see everyone’s reactions to the stunning photos! Thank you, Shannon, for your positive outlook, creative style and for capturing the vibe of our wedding day!

Shannon was an absolute pleasure to work with! Having not had professional photos done before, my fiance and I were a little worried about looking stilted and awkward. Shannon embraced our natural goofiness and through some sorcery, turned it into photos that were fun, natural, and really captured the energy of the day. To say Shannon is amazing and you won't regret hiring her, is simply not enough. Shannon has amazing attention to detail, I felt so taken care of, even before our big day. My mind could rest easy working with Shannon, she guided me to make the decisions necessary to capture our day, it was easy to do with her helpful suggestions. She scouted out beautiful locations for our photos that made sense to keep the flow of the day from our ceremony to our venue. She even gave me a heads up on possible rain a couple days before our big day, she suggested to bring some other shoes for photos so I didn't ruin mine for the evening. She's mindful of the movement of the clouds and the sunlight as she captures the love, romance, laughter and happy tears of the day in all your special moments. I have so many beautiful memories captured with friends, family and my partner. We took our wedding photos between the ceremony and our dinner/dance. She created an experience where we could have fun, let loose and relax, and still manage to keep us on-time, while getting all the pictures that captured the essence of the day and our love! Having Shannon as our photographer allowed us to enjoy our day immensely and feel like time stood still, we never felt like we were on a photo shoot and time was of the essence. My friends worked with Shannon to gift me a beautiful coffee table book that I cherish so much. I would highly recommend this so your beautiful photos don't stay digital!
