Shannon-May was our wedding and engagement photographer. She was truly the MVP of the wedding vendor team, especially as we were planning from a distance. She brought positivity and wisdom to every communication, zoom meeting and email. From beginning to end, Shannon-May was truly invested in our experience. I had so many questions and ideas and she heard them all out and provided countless pieces of advice. She provided us with many tips and tricks for our engagement session. I'm so happy we did our engagement session with her because it really helped us get comfortable in front of the camera and it was great to finally meet Shannon-May in person. In the lead up to the wedding, Shannon-May helped us create a realistic timeline and continued to an indispensable source of advice. She also had us complete a huge survey in the weeks prior wedding. Not only did it mean that we were on the same page for every moment of the day but it also helped us iron out the last details. This survey meant that Shannon-May was able to capture every detail that was important to us. On the day of the wedding, Shannon-May dealt with weather changes that disrupted our timeline with ease and made it a stress-less situation. Our families loved working with Shannon-May and they felt so comfortable with her presence throughout the day. With both the engagement photos and the wedding day, we received our photos way faster than expected and wow - we were impressed!! Something I never considered, is getting the photos from the photographer. Shannon-May has an excellent website that makes viewing, sharing and ordering photos really easy. Even Grandma was able to use the website! Our printed photos were delivered ahead of time and looked amazing.
All in all, we think our decision to work with Shannon-May was the best decision we made in the entire wedding process. The memories that Shannon-May captured for us will be loved for generations to come!

There is so much we can say about Shannon . Well for starts in the crazy time of planning a wedding in covid Shannon took the time to call the province and find out what this would mean for our wedding day. You are not only getting a photographer with Shannon your getting a friend to make you laugh and smile at just the right moments. With a rain storm a few power outages Shannon still got all the perfect shots. Just hire her already cause we promise you won’t regret it one bit! Shannon was amazing and knew exactly how to make me feel comfortable in front of the camera, and even gave me helpful hints on how to pose to hide the flaws I didn't want the camera to pick up. I was amazed at the photos and not one did I find an issue with, these are photos I will treasure the rest of my life, of a day so magical and filled with love and all caught on film by my amazing photographer. I am truly thankful to have had such a talented photographer capture my wedding day and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

She cares so much about your engagement pictures as well your wedding pictures then I think you'd ever find, she seriously loves her job and that's what you want to find! She met with us a number of times and countless emails prior to our big day. Her passion on the camera and her love for you is like nothing else. Shannon is the BEST! Photography was very high on our priority list, so Shannon was the first call I made when we got engaged - and also the best decision we made! When we met her she was so sweet, funny and very professional - and also acted like a wedding planner with all of her great ideas. She is so friendly and bubbly and just makes everyone comfortable in front of the camera. The only problem is you don't get back a dozen good photos - you get back a thousand AMAZING ones and it takes a while to go through them! How she managed to get a wedding party of 10 to take great pictures is beyond me! I would highly highly highly recommend Shannon - if you can get her for your date - book it! :)
