When I was planning my wedding I knew I wanted the day to be relaxed and focused on spending time with friends and family. Your wedding photographer is with you and your family the entire day of the wedding. We wanted someone we felt comfortable with. Shawn is people person and felt like he was a friend joining in our wedding while remaining professional and managing to capture the emotion and key moments of our day.

Working with Shawn was great. I had asked for just a mini engagement style shoot in downtown Ottawa. He gave us more images than we were expecting and they were exactly what I was hoping for. I would work with him again.

Shawn was a pleasure to work with. He had so many amazing ideas that were non traditional and beautiful. Even though the marriage didn’t work out, I didn’t delete the pictures because they were too good to get rid of. That’s how wonderful of a photographer Shawn is. Use his services and you won’t be disappointed.

Shawn was our photographer for our special day. Despite dealing with a bride with a very specific vision, he did a fantastic job capturing our day.

For our wedding, the most important aspect was the photographer. It's the one thing that you can hand down to your kids, grandchildren, etc.

We spent an enormous amount of time evaluating portfolios, people, samples, etc. In the end, we chose Shawn because he just had an eye for those real, on the fly, natural photos. Too many photographers rely on the positions, rehearsed shots; and yes, that's important, but we wanted more....

Shawn didn't disappoint in the slightest. People told me that a single photographer can't capture every moment, and i can tell you that it's not true. An active, energetic, passionate photographer will and has captured them all.

The results - beautiful shots of the wedding party (he had scoped out the venue beforehand and knew where he wanted to shoot), preparation, ceremony and reception. He captures friends, family, heartfelt moments, smiles, laughs, the kids playing, adults dancing, etc etc etc. Every picture was just amazing.

The results of his work, his personality, and his keen eye and artistic sense makes him the best photographer I've seen. "The proof is in the pudding", look at his portfolio and you'll see.
