We had such a great time doing our engagement and wedding photos. Jacquie and her team are amazing, she brings an amazing energy and you honestly feed off of each others excitement. Everything went so smooth and without any bumps or troubles. Absolutely fantastic

My husband Dennis and I got married in November of 2023 and we were blown away with the experience we had with Jacquie. We got the “Rose Gold” package which included 10 hours of coverage, 2 photographers, a Photo Booth and 650 photos. Jacquie and her second shooter, Janine, stayed longer than the 10 hours and we ended up getting just under 800 photos back in both colour and black & white!!

From the first moments of speaking with Jacquie over the phone, email, text she was very informative, professional, and helpful with all aspects of the wedding, even helping my mom steam my veil minutes before leaving for the church! We both hate getting photos taken and were worried the process would be awkward and a hassle but Jacquie made it so fun! We were laughing and she always knew what to say to get us to have genuine laughs and smiles. We walked away from our engagement shoot extremely impressed with how fun she made the experience and so excited for our wedding day.

Our bridal party, family, and wedding guests all commented on how amazing our photographers were and how fun they were to work with. We got our photos back 22 days after the wedding, I was so impressed! She also gave us sneak peaks the very next day after the wedding.

We would 1000% recommend and have recommended Jacquie to anyone who has asked for her information after the wedding day and hope we get the chance to work with her again at another wedding in the future! We found Simply Wedding Photography through theweddingring.ca's Kitchener-Waterloo Wedding Expo. We were drawn to her booth because it was the only one we had seen that displayed photos of queer weddings and we were eager to find someone who we didn't have to explain ourselves to or worry about feeling uncomfortable with. We also liked how natural her photography looked compared to the more dramatic styles other photographers gravitated towards.

From the moment we started talking to Jacquie we clicked. She is so easy to talk to and it really felt like she alligned with our vision for the big day. Then when we won the giveaway she was running for the show for a discount off one of her packages we were sold.

Jacquie is the best, most efficient, thoughtful photographer I've ever worked with. She had the whole day thoroughly planned out (including a detailed list of how the family photos would be taken) but with time to spare so we didn't feel rushed. She kept us on schedule and reassured me constantly that we had lots of time to get everything done. She's easy to communicate with and so so good at making people feel at ease, including folks that have trouble smiling naturally in photos (my wife in particular) and also folks who are usually uncomfortable with having their photos taken. She is great at posing people in ways that look so natural, including the entire range of folks in our families from toddlers to retirees.  She's also great at finding the best locations in a given area. Jacquie and her second photographer Janine were also just so fun to spend time with and both our families and our wedding party remarked upon it. By the end of the wedding we genuinely felt like we would miss her company!

We have had so many compliments on both our engagement photos and our wedding photos! We could tell from the engagement shoot that the wedding photos would be good but they surpassed our wildest expectations and we will cherish them for years to come.

My daughter Brittany got married October 14 2023. Jackie at Simply Wedding Photography did the photos for the wedding. She was amazing she made sure we got all of the photos we asked for and so many we didn’t know we wanted. She engaged with all of the guest and the wedding party and became apart of our family that day. She was so organized with the plan of what photos to do first and how to work all of the family through so people were not just standing around waiting for there picture with the bride and groom. I was so amazed at how quick we got to see the pictures. The wedding was on a Saturday and we had photos to look at on Monday. When she was working on the photos she would send some to us because she was so excited on how they turned out. Every bit of money we spend was well worth it and I would recommend her to everyone. She makes everyone feel so comfortable and she always had really good suggestions and recommendations on how to get the best results.

Jacquie. Was. AMAZING. Jacquie was so easy to work with, and guided us through the process of how to make our day go smooth and efficient. She took all the pictures we asked for and all the ones we didn’t know we wanted but LOVE them. We had Janine as a second photographer and she was just as amazing! She captured all the pictures of the boys and they all had so much fun. They always had us at the centre, all the while still having fun themselves. We couldn’t have had better photographers and they made our day so much more special! Jacquie is who you want as your photographer!

Everything went as expected. There was a good amount of flexibility in accommodating the various venues of our wedding and in the end we got (very speedily) some excellent photos. We were happy with the service.

My husband and I were very happy with the main owner/photographer’s services. She made us feel very confident and comfortable right from the get go. Weddings are very stressful and she was one less stress to have, as we could tell based on the professionalism, punctuality, and consistent friendliness we received.
