SL-Photography is an exclusive, high-end, travelling wedding photography team. Our home is Vancouver, British Columbia but our footprints have been to all corners of North America and Latin America destinations.
Our team has three principle photographers. Each professional has a unique philosophical view about photography, portraiture, and covering weddings. Collectively, we produce contemporary, photojournalistic, visual narratives that transcend just images.
Services Offered
SL-Photography only takes a limited number of clients per year. And we offer a free pre-investment consultation to get to know you better at a personal level. We want to focus on you and discover what you want to shine through your photography. We want to help you capture the memories for a lifetime in the way you envision. We aim to provide all the information you need to choose a service that is right for you. Our clients usually book a year to 18 months in advance.
For more than a decade, our team of professional photographers has been documenting weddings across North America. We treat each wedding as special and unique. If you want to travel back in time while looking through our wedding collection, you can with the final results that captured the highlight of the big day.

The most amazing wedding photographers!
We are so happy that we had SL Photography for our engagement and wedding day photos! Ming and Tyler were so knowledgeable, professional, and personable. It really felt like they were a part of our wedding party. Ming really caters to the wishes of the couple when it comes to photography style (e.g. traditional, contemporary, etc). The wedding day is stressful enough, so my wife and I really appreciated the lengths that SL Photography went to in order to ensure that our photos came out brilliant. I strongly recommend Ming and SL Photography to any couple looking for a creative, personable, and supportive wedding photography team.

The best photography team we could've asked for!
I highly recommend choosing SL photography for your wedding! Ming, Tyler, and Tal were all amazing photographers with their own unique photography style. All three of them did a great job capturing everything on the day of the wedding, and were also so much fun to have around! The value was great, as we got three extraordinary photographers for 12 whole hours. Also, our package included an engagement shoot with Ming, which turned out beautiful as well. He delivered our photos in a custom box with a custom USB, which is super cute! You can tell that these guys love what they do and they were such a pleasure to have at our wedding. Can't thank them enough!

absolutely amazing photographers - highly recommend
We hired SL photography to shoot our wedding at Cecil Green Park House in July 2022, and at Hotel Rosewood Georgia before the wedding. Our package included an engagement shoot (a great opportunity to get more comfortable in front of the camera). Ming and his team were extremely professional, personable, and talented. They go above and beyond what’s expected with 5 star photography. They’re positive attitudes and hard working attitudes were an added bonus. I have never seen so many photos come out so beautiful. All of our guests loved having them at the wedding and only had great things to say.
I would hire SL again in a heartbeat and would recommend them to anyone that needs a photographer for an event. Thank you so much for everything!!

Fantastic experience, excellent service!
We were blown away by the fantastic service and the quality of the work provided by SL-Photography. Ming worked tirelessly all day to ensure we got the pictures we wanted and he has a great eye for artistic shots. He even made sure he toured all our chosen spots ahead of time to make sure he found all the special, sometimes hidden away, spots. This was our first photo shoot experience and he made the day casual and so much fun. We absolutely love our photos, and have received so many compliments for them. We would highly recommend his services!

Great experience with Ming and Tyler!
We consider ourselves very fortunate to have had Ming and Tyler photograph our wedding day. They are both fantastic photographers, and were able to capture exactly the type of images we were looking for (in our case, we asked for a combination of creative and informal photos and also posed shots; they did both so well). Also, they were great people to spend such a big day with, and that was really important to us as well. We love our photos and are so glad we chose SL Photography!

Great experience!
I would absolutely recommend SL photography. Ming and Tyler were professional, responsive and gave great directions to both of us who were definitely not naturals in front of the camera. We received our photos promptly and in a lovely package. They were a hit with everyone at the party as well! Overall We were so happy with the experience and very glad we chose them as our photographers.

Fun, artistic and professional
Ming and Tyler went above and beyond to make our wedding photos a dream come true! They were friendly and professional with everyone, and blended into the wedding all over the place to catch natural candid photos. We are usually awkward in photos but it was no problem, with their directions, anyone can be posed naturally. Ming has such an eye for interesting settings or details with which to execute his vision, with fantastic artistic expression. We can't be happier to have chosen them to share our big day with us!

Ming and Tyler were fantastic! I did a LOT of research prior to booking a photographer and they were my first choice. Because of that I already had pretty high expectations for them. However, even with that, they went above and beyond our expectations with the quality of their photographs and with basically every aspect of their service.
The photographs turned out amazing and we couldn't be happier. We have looked through them a ton since receiving them and they bring us back to those moments so vivdly. They were very professional and responsive pre, during and post wedding. They were also both very easygoing and personable the day of the wedding. This is something I didn't really think about before booking but it is a huge help and very important now that I realize how much time you will be spending with them :)

Not your typical, posed photography
We went with SL photography after seeing their online portfolio. We loved the candids and the more artistic, abstract shots. We wanted to capture the sentiment and the joy of the moment ,rather than posed pictures, and SL did not disappoint. We did our engagement shoot and wedding day. For both occasions, they collaborated with us about location and engaged with us to have a clear vision of what we were looking for. They also did the traditional, posed pictures, but if you’re wanting to go beyond that, SL are the guys you want!
