Out of this World Photographer!

We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer to capture the magic of our wedding day! There are so many amazing things to be said about Sofia.
1. Sofia is extremely personable and is super easy to get along with. From our first online meeting we instantly connected, the conversation was effortless. Sofia is extremely knowledgeable and has been a professional photographer for years, making it easy to answer all our questions!
2. We felt comfortable around Sofia. We never felt awkward in front of the camera with Sofia, she made the whole process super comforting. She had a great mix between capturing candid moments and posing us for some out of this world photos (literally)! She...

We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer to capture the magic of our wedding day! There are so many amazing things to be said about Sofia.
1. Sofia is extremely personable and is super easy to get along with. From our first online meeting we instantly connected, the conversation was effortless. Sofia is extremely knowledgeable and has been a professional photographer for years, making it easy to answer all our questions!
2. We felt comfortable around Sofia. We never felt awkward in front of the camera with Sofia, she made the whole process super comforting. She had a great mix between capturing candid moments and posing us for some out of this world photos (literally)! She truly captured every emotion felt during our wedding day.
3. Sofia is super easy to get a hold of. We never had to wait longer than a day to get a response from Sofia, whether it was email, text, or Instagram! Her ability to communicate via multiple communication channels made connecting effortless. Closer to the wedding she also sent us a link for a quick online call, her booking system was easy to use, and we could easily pick a time that worked best for Sofia and us!
4. Throughout the wedding planning process, Sofia offered an additional layer a support by suggesting other great vendors and answering any wedding related questions we might have, even if it wasn’t related to photography! You can tell that she loves weddings! Before our wedding, Sofia sent us a checklist that helped us with planning the finer details of the wedding day!
5. Sofia has crazy talent! Our ceremony location was inside the Zeidler Dome at the Telus World of Science Edmonton. We had the lights turned down, and got married under the stars (in the middle of the day). These DARK settings are where Sofia truly shines, her work was incredible, and we have gotten so many compliments on these photos. Adding to her versatility, Sofia also captured moments outside in the bright light as well. Like we said, she has crazy talent! We have also received countless compliments on our wedding photos from family and friends!
6. Sofia is a natural artist! We weren’t sure where to take our wedding photos (family, group shots, individuals). Sofia and her team scoped out some amazing locations (that we never even heard of) for our portfolio. As soon as the ceremony was done, Sofia and her team helped assemble our big family to a unique and original photo location, and we were done family photos in no time (still on schedule). Once we got into the limo, Sofia and her team directed the limo driver to all these great locations – allowing us to sit back and enjoy the company on the limo! This was an above & beyond touch.
We honestly can’t thank Sofia enough for everything she did to make our wedding day special. If you are looking for a professional photographer who cares about you and capturing all the great moments your wedding day has to offer, then Sofia is your gal! Thank you Sof!!!

Amazingly Talented

Had the absolute pleasure of booking this beautiful woman for the first time. I can tell you it will NOT be our last!
My husband and I have never had photos taken of us before and to be honest I was nervous as well as I am a very self conscious person (we are our own worst critic!). Sofia made me instantly feel so at ease and just made the whole experience an absolute blast!!!

Candid, artistic and amazing captures!

Wedding photography was an aspect of our day that we did not want to compromise on and after researching many different Calgary based photographers, Sofia was a clear fit. First off, she takes AMAZIIIIING photos. Photos that in many ways are works of art and were complete candid captures of our day. She also has the super important ability to make people, even those she has just met, feel very comfortable in the front of the camera and is great at navigating any drama with grace and a savviness that can only come with experience and truly caring about her clients. She was great at communicating up front, leading up to the day and well after, and helped navigate...

She was great at communicating up front, leading up to the day and well after, and helped navigate our day of timeline - 100% worth our investment. Our photos were also better than we could have imagined, especially considering it was a polar vortex of a day - but Sofia never missed a beat and the quality of her photos exceeded any expectations we could have had for the day. I would hire her again for any milestone service or as part of her other photography business endeavours without hesitation.

Simply The Best!!!!

I hired Sofia last year. She’s absolutely amazing. Her style is artsy and not the regular boring stuff. She did our engagement shoot and it was such a great experience. Her personality is amazing and he photos are incredible. She recently shot at our wedding in September and she was amazing. None stop from the moment she arrived. Her attention to detail and eye for the perfect shot is perfect. I cannot say enough about her. Simply the best. I get so many compliments on our photos and we are so glad we hired her to capture such special moments.

Sofia is amazing. Our wedding and engagement shoots both look like they are straight out of a fairy tale. We are so pleased with her finished product and so happy we chose her to capture the most important day of our lives. Sofia was amazing to work with. When we hired her we didn't have any idea of how we wanted to plan our wedding. Sofia gave us so many helpful tips and sent us off in a great direction. We never would have had our perfect wedding if it wasn't for her!

Working with Sofia is a dream! She makes the whole process easy and you know she'll give you the results you want.

We recently worked on-set with her for the Bridal Fantasy magazine and were on-site for 12+ hours. The end result was amazing and well worth it! Can't wait to work with her again.

Sofia was amazing and we are so lucky to have found her! The quality of work is impeccable! We've had people be moved to tears looking at our photos that didn't attend our wedding. Truly touching. Sofia's second shooter, Adam was phenomenal. such a character and such an awesome photographer as well!

If you want magazine quality photos with the most amazing lighting humanly possible hire her. Every single one of our 600+ edited pictures were stunning and captured everyone's personalities including mine and my husbands perfectly. I can not gush enough about Sofia. She is one of a kind and truly brilliant with a camera.

She is so well-immersed in the wedding industry, she was nice to bounce ideas off for decorations and other vendors. Our photos came out beautifully and were a great reminder of how amazing our day was.

She really went above and beyond for us as well, even getting in feet first to a cold pond just to get the perfect shot.

When my husband and I got engaged, we met up with three or four photographers, and Sofia by far had the best photographs and the best personality (and laugh). Even though I loved everything about her, I was a little hesitant because it was a lot of money to spend on pictures. But my goodness, it is no doubt the best money we spent for our wedding. As time goes on, I know I'm going to forget all about the dress, food, music, favours, centrepieces, etc but I will always have the beautiful photographs to remind me.

Now moving on to the photos. Sofia's pictures are breathtaking. Literally. Just go look through her portfolio. Her passion and creativity with lighting can make any ordinary shot extraordinary. It rained on our wedding day. We were so crushed but a small part of us was excited because we knew that it meant Sofia could capture some amazing shots in rain at night with her fancy lighting....and she did. Since we couldn't do our wedding party shots outside like we planned, Sofia managed to arrange for us to do the photos at this cool loft in downtown Calgary with a gorgeous red brick wall. How amazing is that?! She has awesome connections.

Not only was Sofia our photographer, but she was also like a built in wedding planner. Since she has so much experience with weddings, she helped us find some amazing vendors, helped us schedule the day, reassured us with timelines and was just all around amazing. Also, the packaging she does for delivering the USB is epic. The USB in itself is already pretty epic. Hire her and you'll know what I mean. Sofia has an incredible attention to detail and makes the effort to make everything amazing - this is evident in everything she does.

In hindsight, there are a few things I would have changed about our wedding, but hiring Sofia is definitely not one of them.
