I recently had the absolute pleasure of working with Peter from Stec Photography to capture my engagement proposal to my partner, Cassandra. From the very start of my search, Peter stood out with his exceptional style of photography, which I knew would perfectly match what Cassandra and I wanted for our special moment. His expertise was evident even from viewing his work online, which set him apart from others in the field.
Peter was local to us, which made setting up our initial consultation incredibly convenient. Even though our proposal was still more than a month away, Peter was flexible and accommodating in arranging the consultation closer to the date. This flexibility, combined with his quick and helpful responses to my questions via email, gave me confidence in choosing him as our photographer.
During our in-person consultation at Peter's home, I shared our story, my plans, and what I envisioned for the photos. Peter's communication was outstanding—he not only understood the significance of the moment but also helped me visualize what our photos could look like. His past work, familiarity with our chosen location, and ability to put my worries at ease with his stealth and expertise in scoping out the area were incredibly reassuring.
On the day of the proposal, Peter did an incredible job. The photos perfectly captured the moment, exactly as I had envisioned, and Cassandra was overjoyed with the quality and quantity of the images. Peter’s suggestions for posing were invaluable, especially for Cassandra, who typically feels awkward in front of the camera. His guidance helped her feel relaxed and confident, resulting in beautiful, natural photos.
From start to finish, the cost, quality, expertise, and exceptional service provided by Peter were unparalleled. We wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone in need of engagement proposal photography, and we are already considering him for our future wedding. If you’re unsure about your photographer, I can’t stress enough how important it is to reach out and set up a consultation with Peter—you won’t find anyone else who can match his level of quality and expertise. -

Hello there, if you're reading this then you must be curious about hiring STEC to do your photography. I'll make it easy for you... do it! Seriously, I don't have enough words to tell you how incredible it was working with Pete.
First, let me say he is one of the most welcoming people I've ever met; his wife included (whom my husband and I met briefly). He happily welcomed us into his home and we spent a few hours chatting about ourselves and our plans for our wedding. Pete made us feel very comfortable as he told us about himself and his photography style, to the point where we didn't even consider any other photographer. We knew we wanted him to be a part of our big day.
Second, this man is incredibly patient. We had some issues happen that caused some problems before the wedding, and we had to do a lot of back-and-forth communicating to make sure we were all on the same page. He was extremely helpful and patient when I was a little slow to respond at times. Not only that, not once did he get annoyed when I had to continually interrupt his work to run to the bathroom as I have Chron's Disease. Most people struggle with understanding the situation, but he was very supportive and considerate when it came to location choices.
Third, he's a lot of fun to work with. I spent a lot of my time laughing during the photo shoots, which made things much easier. He provided guidance when needed (let's face it, most of us aren't models!), and nothing felt weird or uncomfortable (ladies, he does boudoir shoots ;) and despite how I feel about my body, he made me look damn fine!).
Fourth, his work is INCREDIBLE. It didn't matter if the photos were touched up or not, they all came out great! Of course I'm a little biased and absolutely loved the ones he did touch up (some of the effects he put on the images were really cool!!), but there weren't any photos I was unhappy with. If you haven't checked out his work yet, take a minute to do so. This is a man who clearly loves his art and it shows!
Now, if you're worried about price, let me say that he is worth it. I don't mean to say that he's expensive, nor do I mean to say he's cheap. However, I know many people who don't want to spend more than a couple hundred (or less) on photography, and that's completely understandable. My husband and I debated how much we wanted to dedicate towards the photography budget, and decided that this was one cost we wouldn't "cheap out on", and honestly we have no regrets. Again, not saying he's expensive or cheap; the price for what we got was fantastic (especially if you compare some others who charge just as much or more for a fraction of what's included if you sign on with Pete).
I could probably keep going on and on about Pete and his work, but I think you get the idea by now. Not only is he amazing at what he does, he's also an amazing person. If you're still not convinced, I suggest meeting him. He doesn't pressure you into signing with him, and he even gave us advice on what to look for when searching for a photographer (if we decided we didn't want to hire him). I would 100% recommend him to any couple. He exceeded all my expectations, and I hope that I can work with him again in the future. -

Pete was fabulous. 100% Recommend
We got married at Inn on the Twenty this past July, the pictures were great. We had so many compliments about Pete on the day of, his image visions and ideas were great. Definitely recommend him to anyone... his professionalism, experience and easy-going demeanor were a great part of our day. -

We are extremely happy with our memories from the day and would recommend him to anyone. I don't remember seeing him throughout the ceremony at all, which tells you he does a great job of staying in the background but still capturing the most amazing moments! -
