I messaged Stella's View Photography 2 months before my wedding, it happened to be the only free Saturday that year available for Cate, I was in luck! I told her I wasn't having a traditional wedding I was eloping on Pelee Island (where I grew up) and the strange plan I had in place. We took the ferry over, ate lunch at the winery when we arrived and then to my family cottage to get ready; Cate captured the casual part of our day before the wedding. She photographed our first look at the water's edge and then from there we went to the Mission Hall Sanctuary for the ceremony. Cate not only captured precious photos of me walking down the aisle with my dad but also my dog right behind me. She captured beautiful pictures of my husband and I walking through a lavender field. Then from there, she and her assistant followed us to all the sentimental places I wanted pictures. I got pictures on the rocks in the water, stunning photos in a canoe on Lake Henry, rustic photos against my grandparent's old tobacco barn and lastly, beautiful photos of my husband and I in the water (trashing the dress). She was very versatile with all of the surroundings. I even had my 11 month old there and she managed to capture heart-warming photos of him with us in the water. We accomplished everything I wanted to do and I now have absolutely wonderful photographic memories of my wedding day.
