  Kat and Dan are amazing photographers. They are so talented! They are really the best in their field. Their work speaks for itself, just look at their photos on their website. All of their pictures are works of art!
  We met with different photographers before we chose Kat and Dan of Stone Photo. Not only are they amazing photographs, but they also make you feel so comfortable and really make it fun. You are going to share the most important day of your life with them, often being intimate in front of them, so make sure you are comfortable with them. We felt comfortable with Kat and Dan from the very beginning. It also helps that Kat and Dan are married themselves. Not only can they demonstrate the poses to you, they also have been though the entire process and know what to look for.
  Kat and Dan did our engagement photo shoot and our wedding. We were nervous to be in front of the camera but Kat and Dan really made us feel at ease. After a few minutes we felt like we were the only ones there. Kat and Dan really captured our love so beautifully both on our wedding day and the engagement session. They really have an eye for beautiful things. Their pictures are out of this world.
  They are a pleasure to work with, very funny and easy going. They are very accommodating. If you tell them what is important to you to capture, they will do everything to give you those photos. They are professional and reply in timely matter, given how busy they can get.
  I would say wedding photos are at the top of the list you want to splurge on. After all, that is all you have once the wedding is over. With Kat and Dan you are getting not one but two professional photographers. Each of them is great in their own ways. They are award winning photographers for a good reason. Don’t even think about going with anyone else, they were worth every penny. In my opinion they are the best photographers in Vancouver, BC, Canada and beyond.

  Kat and Dan are amazingly talented, hard-working and creative photographers who will do anything and everything they can to give you all the photos you want (plus plenty of breathtaking shots that you didn't even realize were possible!). Also, they are such sweet and genuine people that you can't help but be relaxed and have fun while sharing your beautiful moments with them.
  
  They "wow"ed us in so many ways, but just to name a few:
  -They listened so carefully to what we were hoping for. Even though we were having trouble finding the words to describe the feel or styles of shots we liked, they listened, asked helpful questions, took notes, and then made all of it happen... from 5 different angles... literally.
  -It's inspiring to see how tirelessly creative and original they are. From a golden ray of dying sunlight, to a reflective antique table, to some richly deep-green vines surrounding a metal gate... little details we never noticed before would inspire them to create gorgeous shots we've never seen before. It feels as though their default setting is on "bursting with new ideas", and it's amazing to watch them work and then see the surprising and jaw-dropping results.
  -They will do whatever it takes to get the shots you want. From our own experiences, that included climbing over 50 ft of sharp jagged rocks, lying in a puddle while rain poured all over Dan's face and camera, and repeatedly making themselves invisible behind us so that the lighting could be perfect and so that we wouldn't fall from the rusted metal fence we decided to climb. Dan has also managed some cool group shots by tossing his camera in the air too, i believe ;)
  -Their different styles and effortless teamwork gives you a huge variety of photos that still fit together into a complementary collection that really takes you back to the moments they captured.
  
  I could ramble on forever, but the bottom line is this: Kat and Dan are the best. Go meet them... you'll see :D

  Great photographer! I haven't received all my pix yet but was very professional on the site and provided sneak peaks within a day...and sooo amazing so far!!

  Dan and Kat were the unequivocal rockstars of our vineyard wedding. We were at first looking at wedding photographers recommended by our venue that were all ridiculously expensive and in our opinion, their portfolios were not as emotionally evocative as Dan and Kat's.
  
  First of all, Dan and Kat are incredibly professional - but that doesn't mean they are stiff. Dan is gregarious and genuinely excited about his work. Kat is his perfect foil, keeping him on task and has a bit of spunk in her own right. On the wedding day, they combined to be the perfect team - you hardly noticed them at all. They were able to produce phenomenal shots (as you can see from their portfolio) with zero disruption to the actual event. Dan and Kat were also very helpful with the flow of the day and were open to suggestions and always keen to take the annoying 50 family shots that your aunt and mom want.
  
  The photos themselves have so far been incredible. Dan and Kat use light, scale and perspective to create truly epic shots. These aren't J CREW pop-art catalog shots. They capture emotion and movement and balance light and dark in a way that just wasn't available from other photographers we looked at and is seemingly unique in the wedding photography industry.
  
  To conclude, we couldn't have been happier with the actual wedding day process with Dan and Kat and more importantly, the photos that were produced. Easily, the best decision we made during the wedding planning process.

  Kat & Dan of StonePhoto were absolutely awesome to work with, start to finish! They are so fun and personable, and really made us feel at ease around them and in front of the cameras. We had a blast doing our engagement pictures and it was like Christmas morning when the pictures and brag books arrived in a pretty parcel to our home! They were incredible at our wedding, full of ideas and making the most of our time together. We got so many complements from guests about how great they were at capturing every moment without being "in the way" of anyone's view. We can't wait to see the pictures, we know they will be stunning!

  Dan and Kat of Stone Photo shot our wedding in June 2013 in Vancouver BC, and we can't imagine having picked more versatile, talented and easy to work with photographers for our wedding!
  
  They are an incredible team: extremely personable, hard working, and professional from start to finish. They were also great at liaising with our sometimes demanding and nutty wedding parties/families/guests. They photographed our engagement session as well as our 2-day wedding -- roughly 15 hours of photography overall. The result was photos that were well-timed, beautiful, and captured our memories of us and our guests in a way that very few photographers would have been able to do as well. We would not hesitate to recommend them for weddings or other projects -- and we frankly can't wait to find another excuse to hire them!

  I am not sure how many more times I can say this but we are so glad we hired Dan & Kat as our photographers. I went through so many and once I met them and saw their work, I just knew I wanted them to take photos for us. Not only do they produce amazing work, but their personalities are definitely one of a kind. We went from shooting in the freezing cold up on Mt. Seymour for our engagement session to shooting in the blazing sun on our wedding day and they were just absolutely amazing and professional.
  
  The pictures of course turned out to be more than what we had hoped for and we can't thank them enough! :)

  Dan and Kat are not only amazing photographers, but they are amazing people as well. We had so much fun doing our photos, and they turned out great! Our guests said that it was amazing how Kat wandered so effortlessly around capturing every moment. I would highly recommend Stone Photo to any couple looking for a photographer for their engagement or wedding.

  Dan and Kat are AWESOME! It's very fortuitous that such great people just happen to take such fantastic photos! They never once lost patience with us, even when we started goofing around and making faces at the camera instead of being serious during the wedding photos :) ... and when we wanted to do something fun and unusual for our engagement photos, the two of them took our idea and ran with it! Have already been recommending them to others - even people who live far away from Vancouver :)
