Kate was a stand-in photographer for my wedding when my original photographer suddenly had a medical issue within the week of my wedding. Although the situation was stressful, Kate swooped in and helped me feel at ease, setting up a quick coffee date with me pre-wedding. She captured some absolutely wonderful moments during my day. I only wish I had had more time shooting with her. I plan on staying in contact with her and cheering her on as she tackles ‘The Course’...stress management for brides! First off, Kate is an excellent photographer. Our photos turned out exactly how we wanted them. I think largely because of Kate’s eye and skill, but she took the time to ask us about our vision and really listen to our wishes, some of which we didn’t even realise until she helped us dive in to what we were looking for! Kate’s experience, positive demeanour, and patience showed the whole day and night. The way kate helped us prep was efficient, smooth, and fun, and didn’t require much work on our part at all, which is what we wanted. She guided us through our wishes and straight to the heart of the matter when establishing our approach, which is what we asked for. I think she would be compatible with every type, from the laxidasically inclined to the bride and groomzillas. She offered the whole package, without even a hint of upselling, but we were on a tight budget and Kate made it work for us. I have seen her albums from 2 different weddings now, and they are second to none in my opinion. Kate is flexible, thoughtful, fun, creative, responsive, light hearted and just a pleasure to hang with. You surely won’t be disappointed with her level of service and quality.Sweetheart Empire's reply:

Kate and her team are amazing. If you are considering a wedding photographer, or a family photographer, look no further. Kate will make you feel at ease. Like an old friend you've known for years. She really made the process fun and romantic from the moment we met at our consultation, through our engagement photos, and up until the delivery of our beautiful wedding album. We felt that she was just as excited for our wedding as we were, and the results are totally amazing. We really couldn't have asked for anything more.Sweetheart Empire's reply:

Kate was a pleasure to work with right from the start. After admiring her work from a friends' wedding, we knew her style was what we were looking for our love story. We appreciated how she tells a story with her photography, capturing candid and heartfelt moments.
We have had plenty of typical, looking-at-the-camera photos and wanted a different approach for our wedding event. Kate takes the time to hear your vision and works hard to ensure that those moments are taken. She is kind and flexible, which we valued throughout the planning event (engagement shoot to wedding day). Her team (the two photographers who assisted Kate) was also easy to work with. They were professional and fun throughout the day.
Kate is an artist with a free spirit and this is showcased in her work. We were overjoyed with the final product and would recommend her talents to other brides who are searching for the same style.Sweetheart Empire's reply:

Marianne T. Sent on 05/09/2017When I think about my wedding, I think about 'Connection'.
Connection for me means: The love between my husband and I, the union of our families from two different cultures, and the expansion of our network of friends and loved ones.
After reviewing many different wedding photographers, Kate was the only one who understood 'Connection'. We met in a cute little french cafe and she learned all about my husband, our families and our friends. Our working relationship turned into a friendship and I knew she would be perfect.
On the day of our wedding, Kate arrived promptly, met everyone present at my Civil Ceremony and blended in like she was part of the family. She was so warm and personable that we didn't even notice her taking photographs! When she left, we were all so sad to see her leave our party - Kate is an absolute gem!
Our photographs were delivered in a timely manner and I cannot express how amazing they were! Kate's style and art captured the feeling of everyone who was present at my wedding. Every picture told a story and every time I look through them, I am able to relive my wedding day through the eyes of everyone present. They are absolutely breathtaking.
If you are looking for a photographer who can bring life to your wedding day in pictures that encapsulates love and connection, then look no further.
