I was planning my wedding at home in Victoria from abroad in Europe, and she gave me absolute confidence front the get go that she was the right person to photograph my husband and I's wedding without having met her in person. She also went above and beyond and gave me guidance on other vendors to consider on our wedding day. They were all amazing recommendations! I'm so grateful to her. From the very first Skype with Tegan, I knew that she was our photographer. We were planning a wedding from a province away and she was the only photographer that made me feel relaxed and confident that our wedding day would be captured beautifully. We found out we would be in Victoria for a weekend visit and Tegan was able to meet us on short notice to take our engagement photos. She also had great suggestions for our wedding pictures and places around Victoria that she knew would look amazing. We received our engagement photos within a week of them being taken and we were so impressed! Tegan certainly has a way with capturing moments without them being too posed or staged. I have to say, I was certainly stressed about a lot of wedding stuff, but photography was NOT one of them. We filled out Tegan's questionnaire regarding which group photos we wanted and had some back and forth through emails. She clearly wanted to know exactly what we were looking for so that she could make the group shots fast and easy for us. One final phone call with Tegan to shore up the details and we were set. On the day, Tegan and her second shooter, Eva, were AMAZING! She wrangled our chaotic families together for the group shots so effortlessly and always with a smile. We were so impressed how Tegan got so many amazing shots of our reception and we barely even noticed she was there- in a good way! We received our wedding photos within 6 weeks of our wedding (!!!) and we were so blown away by the quality, the amount of photos and the amazing moments she captured. Our moments together look so natural, the lighting and composition reflect high quality professional photos. Having been a bride who planned her Victoria, BC wedding from Calgary, Alberta I can say that Tegan really made the process so smooth and we are so very pleased with the results! We will definitely be back for more!!!

We first met Tegan at another wedding 4 years ago and fell in love with her beautiful personality!! When we saw her photographs, we knew there wouldn't be anyone else when the time came for us to get married. Not once during any of our photo sessions, did we feel awkward. Tegan has an incredible ability to make you feel comfortable, is patient when family members are pulling you in every direction to take their own photos, and is just the best photographer we know of!! Her photos are flawless!

Tegan was beyond amazing second only to the beautiful photos will now will have for the rest of our lives. Tegan was the most perfect photographer for our wedding day! She is very calming and I hardly noticed her taking pictures during our wedding. She captured so many special moments that I thought no one else saw. Tegan's photographs truly captured the happiness and natural beauty of our wedding day at Tinhorn Creek in Oliver, BC. She was very professional, flexible, kind and patient with our guests and our wedding party. She was very respectful of our guests, and was always, "in the background". We have received tons of compliments from our family and friends regarding our photos! We are also very happy with our urban engagement photo shoot that we did the summer prior to our wedding in Vancouver. Tegan McMartin is highly professional and very talented. During the wedding, Tegan was very calm and gave clear instructions on what we should do for the most natural looking photos. Tegan has the eye of a tiger. She captured our requests but she also has this way of capturing all of the beautiful little moments in between. I fully trust in the quality of her work as it is clearly a passion for her, and she has proven herself for us time and again. On our wedding day she was very organized and working so unobtrusively around us she must've been a ninja, because I didn't notice her at all except when she kept us on track and organized for group shots.
