Mary Rose was exceptional. What struck her apart from the others is how down to earth and natural she was. She truly has a passion for what she does, and you can see that through her artwork. She respects the couples desires and provides you with diverse photos with an excellent eye for the perfect moment. She is reliable, dependable, hard-working and overall an amazing artist. I value her as a professional and would recommend her for weddings, baby shoots, engagements or to capture any special moments that you may have! She truly takes her job seriously and strives to make a personal connection with you.

MaryRose from Thaler Photo came recommended by my cousin-in-law and at our first meeting I knew we found the right person to work with, however by the end there were a few hiccups.

She was very easy going and relaxed and is good at what she does. She was very interested in hearing about what we wanted for the day and what our vision was. She made sure to get all the shots we listed as 'must haves' and was great at planning the best way to capture them all so we didn't take hours.

While I'd recommend her work, there were three little 'things' that came up after the wedding that I'd want others to know about. Just put greater detail into the contract:

Firstly, we didn't get any teasers out of the gate. While this wasn't in the contract, I was surprised that she didn't send a few within the first few days after. I had to beg to get two. They were beautiful.

Secondly, we were told we'd get "all" of the pictures taken. This wasn't the case. There were a handful of the must haves missing from the original set she sent to us. After asking for them, I did receive. There were many other "versions" of the same shot that we also didn't get but would have liked to. I would have liked to have even untouched copies of the ones that weren't great to at least be able to make up my own mind. For example, I have really nice individual shots of wives/boyfriends of guests. I would have preferred to have additional shots of the wedding party or parents etc.

And lastly, she overlooked capturing a few important wedding elements - husband's uncle played the banjo while I walked down the aisle and I had a little table set up with pictures of all my grandparents who are no longer with us. While I overlooked adding these to my 'must haves', as a wedding photographer I would have hoped these would have been table stakes and standard

All this said,the quality of her work speaks for itself (beautiful!!) and her easy going attitude made the whole day an amazing experience!
