Tyler has been shooting since 2008 when he began shooting music at open mic nights and small shows around Vancouver. Because of this, Tyler's photographic style is heavily journalistic and spur of the moment. Tyler has been published in The Vancouver Sun, The Province, and has had clients such as Red Bull, UBC, Thrifty Foods, and the Granville Entertainment Group. He has also shot Weddings in Canada, Mexico, The Dominican Republic, and the US. Amidst his photographic career Tyler has worked as a professional retoucher and fine art printer working with some of the west coasts top photographic artistic talents. In addition to his work as a photographer, Tyler is a Graduate Student at the University of Victoria. His main interests in his studies are political theory, aesthetic theory and human behaviour in a sociological and philosophical context.
