Our experience with Vaughn was excellent! From when we hired him to our wedding day, he was very organized and had excellent communication throughout. Both my husband and I felt very comfortable around him. We love our photos and have had so many compliments on how wonderful a job our photographer did. Vaughn really captured the fall colours and vibe that I was going for. We also got our photos back very quickly and did not have to wait the months that you usually hear of to get your wedding photos. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend!

Our engagement session was enjoyed by thousands of bugs in a forested area during an exceptionally hot day - Vaughn was a trooper and kept us sane, and through the chaos produced stunning and creative photos.

Our wedding day weather was also great one minute, pouring rain the next, then sunshine, then cold winds - again, Vaughn came through with exceptional photos and seizing whatever backdrop mother nature threw at us in addition to keeping everyone on pace and in good spirits.

Vaughn is very responsive to all questions and is genuinely engaged your journey. My (now) husband is not a fan of being photographed, but Vaughn instantly put him at ease and made the sessions enjoyable. Vaughn also provided a lot of guidance in helping us determine timelines, group photos, and what he needed from us well in advance.

Vaughn was awesome to work with. Just a genuinely nice person which is obviously an asset to have on your big day. Really good mix of creative/artsy photos, and candid photos. We got all our photos back way quicker than expected and they are all so beautiful. We get complements on the photos all the time.

Choosing a photographer was a big deal to us as we wanted photos that we would love to look at for years to come, while also knowing that we had someone who would help to keep our day running smoothly. After our initial interview with Vaughn it was clear to us that he was the choice for us! We had so much fun with him doing our engagement shoot, and absolutely loved the photos, it made us so excited to see what photos we would get on our wedding day!
Leading up to the wedding he was great at commuting with us and helping to get our timeline right. When our day came no photo opportunities went to plan due to rain, thunderstorms and tornado warnings! Our ceremony plans had to change and so did our photo list we gave him. Vaughn was amazing at still trying to get all the shots we wanted, and managed to get our big group photo as well as family photos during breaks in the rain. He got creative with our wedding party photos and had us take over the bar! We now have some really fun photos with our friends that we wouldn't have thought of! Vaughn did everything to make sure he captured those moments we wanted so much, and ended our time with him doing outside shots in the rain where he captured one of our favourite photos of us walking in the rain.

Vaughn worked so well with the whole team around us on the day, and his great sense of humour kept us going during photos throughout the day! He had way too much fun joking around with our British groomsmen!

We couldn't believe how quickly he got our photos back to us, and how amazing they all turned out. We decided to choose the package with the album included and making this online and approving it was so easy. As we live in the UK he was so helpful with making sure our album made it to us safely which we really appreciated! We are still in awe of how beautiful the album is and look forward to using it for years to come! Thank you so much for being part of our wedding day, and for capturing all our special moments throughout the day. We will cherish these forever.

Vaughn was patient, flexible, and very adaptable to our changing schedule. He communicated professionally, and offered valuable advice for everything on our wedding day, including a beautiful way to hold our first dance. He even convinced us not to go with the more expensive photography package based on our needs, rather than trying to upsell us. He gave us a sneak peek of our photos the very next day, and had our full list of photos ready within a week.

While taking our photos, he made us feel very comfortable and avoided the dreaded over-posed shots. He was very quick at assessing changing weather and moving us to the optimal spots at the venue to capture some truly stunning photos.

Having spoken and worked with a number of other wedding photographers, I cannot recommend Vaughn enough. He is the clear choice for us in every way.

The day of our wedding he was so great with making everything so comfortable and easy. Vaughn and his assistant caught every important moment that we wanted to catch, and even more! Vaughn couldn't have captured our big day at the family cottage in Muskoka more beautifully. He scouted the site ahead of time, identified key photos he and the bride thought would pan out best and took time to understand the parts of our site/location that were important to us. When the weather threw us a curveball, he embraced the weather, adapted to the circumstances and went above and beyond to ensure all of our desired moments were not only captured but enhanced by mother nature. In hindsight, anyone getting photos done by Vaughn should hope for rain because he used it to our advantage and gave the bride the "Notebook-like wedding" she could never have dreamed of.
