Located in Lacombe, Alberta, Venture Images is a company that specializes in adventurous wedding photography services that take place around the beautiful Canadian Rockies. Owner and international photographer Jaycee Bachelder is passionate about capturing the most epic images set in stunning landscapes in Alberta and beyond. Whether it's on a mountain top or in a hot air balloon, your wedding photos will be out of this world!
Services offered
Jaycee combines a photojournalistic approach combined with portraiture photography in her work. She offers Full Wedding (50+ guests), Intimate Wedding (up to 50 guests) and Adventure Elopement (up to 15 guests) packages. The Full Wedding Package includes the following services:
- 10 hours of coverage
- Two photographers (primary and second)
- Unlimited planning and consultation assistance with timeline, locations, and permit requirements
- Unlimited edited images
- Online gallery with personal printing rights, as well as access to printing and album options
- No surprise travel and accommodation costs (with the exception of destination weddings outside of Alberta)
- Adventure Session at discounted price when booked with wedding

Absolutely Amazing
So wonderful
After the ceremony, Jaycee made sure we had the special moment we needed with my mother-in-law. We both took my mother-in-law's last name and we were so overwhelmed we may not have taken the time to make sure she knew the surprise. We are both Octavio's now and have photographs of the moment we told her that we took her last name, thanks to Jaycee!
All the photos we got back had such variety! She made us look so pretty and also caught so many hilarious and wonderful moments that I will be looking back at to remember this day for years to come. Thank you so much Jaycee. Looking forward to booking you for every life event worth documenting!

Welcome to my page! My name is Jaycee Bachelder and I am the face and trigger finger behind the Venture Images lens. I have been third wheeling couples for the last 6 years and having so much fun! I have met so many amazing people thus far and I cannot wait to meet you! I have an adventurous spirit and when I am not shooting engagements or weddings, you can find me in the mountians hiking biking, kayaking and making any excuse to be outside. I love backpacking in my own province, but have also been to 8 different countries in the last 3 years and love when I get to mix my passion for travel and outdoors with photography. I strive to give my clients an amazing experience that remains true and unique to them, no cookie cutter photos here. I am always game for your most wildest ideas, so let me hear them! I hope we can adventure together soon!
