Walter Psotka Photography is a business based in Toronto, Ontario, specializing in contemporary, photojournalistic, portraiture, and traditional styles of photography. Walter excels in public relations photography, wedding photography, and personal and executive portraiture. He also holds the experience of training with some of Canada's finest veterans in photography. He loves challenges in his work and has been located in the Yonge & St. Clair area for more than 30 years now.

Experience

Walter's work was first published and recognized when he was just 17 years old. During his studies at the university, his work included prints for the University newspaper, newsletters, and assorted school publications. He also worked for Pollution Probe Scarborough as photographer and photographic printer. He first worked as a freelance photographer for Global TV. He then did freelance photography evenings and weekends to purchase his own equipment and became assistant manager for "Town Portraits" in the Scarborough Town Centre in the year 1979. At this time, he also joined the Professional Photographers of Ontario and spend 10 years on the executive board. He was also the chairman for two and a half years. In 1993, he received the award for International Day Photographer of the Year.
