Laura did a fantastic job as our photographer. She did our engagement and wedding photos. I booked her elopement package. After booking, I realized it would be better to have her for an extra hour, and she could accommodate, which was greatly appreciated.
She made my husband and I feel very comfortable while taking photos - I am fairly camera-shy so this helped a lot. I am thrilled with the results of both shoots. She was patient, funny, professional and thoughtful! I would 100% book her again for any photos we need in the future. Thanks, Laura!

Laura was one of our favourite vendors from our wedding! Her experience shone through as she wrangled family for photos, and worked the room. She was flexible and creative throughout the whole day, and always prioritized the couple and our wedding day experience before photos which was so appreciated. Her photos are timeless and we love so many of ours; she captured so many special moments beautifully. She was our single most expensive vendor, but one I am so happy we spent the money on. I had full confidence in her and her work all throughout the wedding day which made it so much less stressful. I would highly recommend her!

Read the contract VERY carefully. You will not get to move your deposit to a new date unless COVID restrictions are present during the date of your wedding (which means you have to wait until 3 weeks prior to wedding to postpone). This was not communicated to me during the original meeting when I asked about COVID and I did not read the contract clearly enough. We decided to postpone our wedding due to COVID being so bad and were happy to pay a penalty to change the date but we ended up loosing our entire deposit. Unless you are 100% set on your wedding date regardless of COVID restrictions do not book with this vendor.

We have worked with Laura on four separate photo shoots - newborn, engagement, wedding and newborn / family. We absolutely love her candid style of photography and each time we have been so impressed with her ability to capture so many beautiful candid moments that truly represent our personalities. My husband and I both consider ourselves to be awkward when taking photos and Laura has always been able to coach us to interact naturally with each other so that we’ve felt more comfortable and as a result the photos are very natural and not posed. The photos always end up truly representing ‘us’ - our natural smiles, postures and how we interact with one another - which is what makes the photos so special. Looking through our wedding photos I also love how I can see the story of our day being told through moments, some small but still so meaningful, both in the photos of my husband and I and of our guests.

In addition to her talent, she is an absolute delight to work with. She is very responsive in her communications, is easy to chat to in person, always shows up on time and overall delivers a very seamless experience. She delivers both ‘sneak peek’ photos and the full gallery very timely after the shoot so we never feel like we have to wait long for the photos. We also really appreciated the added detail of having a USB stick of all our wedding photos in addition to the online gallery so we have had a backup copy of those photos from the onset - so comforting!

Laura was incredible to work with. From the moment we met her, we knew that she needed to be our photographer. She was laid back and easy to get along with, but also quite organized and professional, ensuring she asked us about all the details of our wedding.

She showed us her portfolio when we met, something that not a lot of other photographers we had also met with did. Her style of photography matched what we wanted - to capture us, and not have stiff poses or dramatic photos. She was approachable throughout the entire process, responded to emails in a timely manner, and eased a lot of nerves around our engagement photos and the weather on our wedding day. She has many different types of photography packages and we found the one we wanted, with all the things we wanted to be within our budget. I will also note that she was not pushy about her packages, like some of the other photographers we had been interested in initially.

Laura was very timely with getting both our engagement photos and wedding photos back to us. Our engagement and wedding photos are unbelievable and we get compliments on how stunning they are all the time! We are so pleased with all of the photos that we had to go out and buy a digital photo frame to display them all as we couldn't decide which ones specifically we wanted to print and display!

Laura was an excellent photographer for our wedding. We did both our engagement and wedding photographs with her, and both came out excellent. The photos were beautiful, captured the energy of day, and the spirit of our wedding and our guests. Not only were the end photos fantastic, but Laura herself was a pleasure to have around during the wedding day. Her style made our photo session between the ceremony and reception with the wedding party feel more like a party/get together, and this led to a lot of beautiful candid shots of us and our closest friends.

We hired Wild Heart Photography for our February wedding at Chateau Lake Louise and we are so in love with our photos. Laura is incredibly talented, a joy to be around, and so great to work with. We were dealing with changing Covid restrictions and she worked with us to make sure our day still felt so special.
