Alison was a HUGE help while my husband and I were planning our wedding. I had a pretty clear idea of my vision for the day and the vendors I wanted to use, but Alison was great to bounce ideas off of and always had advice on how I could execute my little personal touches.

When our wedding day finally rolled around, Alison made sure that everything ran smoothly throughout the entire day. I didn't have to solve a single problem or even think about setting up or taking down anything! She was amazing!

Thank you for helping make our wedding day completely wonderful and perfect!

Alison was amazing I had so much problems from the beginning with a wedding planner that just left many of us brides on the side. Alison was quick to help and honestly she was absolutely amazing. I had her for the day of planning and I thought Alison was just amazing making sure everything i did was executed as how i wanted. She stayed till the wee hours of the night so I soo appreciated all her help. She was great in communicating whenever I sent out emails, and called her she was always made available and was always on time with being wherever I needed her to be. She not only did amazing job as a wedding planner but she taught my husband and I our wedding funky dance. she is literally a one shop stop. I highly recommend her for her services.

Alison receives 5 stars for all of the above. She was personable and I felt like we were talking like old friends during our consultations. I felt very comfortable in telling her what my needs and expectations were.

On the day of the wedding, Alison was on the ball. She took care of every little detail that needed attention and she did not hesitate to do so. Alison was firm with people who were being difficult in a professional manner. I highly recommend her to plan anyone's wedding. I don't think the wedding would have ran so smoothly if it weren't for her. I'm so happy that I chose her as my wedding planner.

Thank you to Alison for providing us your service for our day. Hopefully we'll be able to work together in the future.

I cannot even begin to explain how Alison made this process easier and more amazing for my partner and I. Always there to turn to with a random question or suggestion, and provided us with so many little extras � her husband, Jeremy, played for our cocktail hour on the patio, and she choreographed our first dance! She even gave me a cute custom initialed day-of-emergency kit. So sweet!
But on the day of is when Alison truly shined. From the rehearsal when she openly told our family/friends not to ask us any questions, to her work with the centerpieces and placecards at the venue on the day of, to the moment our limo showed up and she was running around getting all us crazy ladies in place, to all the work she did transferring flowers from ceremony to reception and organizing gifts, my partner and I knew we didn�t have to worry about everything. When we were enjoying our party she was packing up all the little vases and candles from our outdoor tables and making sure everything got home safely with us. Best of all, Alison was friendly but efficient, and totally got my no-BS personality. Please, use her services. You will not be disappointed and nothing with go wrong on your day. Seriously.

I would highly recommend Alison and A Hot Pink Petticoat for wedding planning services. Alison is accommodating, easy to talk to, understanding, and not to mention funny! She was always easily accessible by phone or email, and always responded to my questions or concerns immediately. Alison was completely reliable, punctual, and exceeded my expectations by ensuring that every last detail was addressed before the big day. Our wedding included two ceremonies (civil and religious) at two different locations in Toronto and nearly 400 guests at a large Italian hall, and Alison did an exceptional job coordinating the events of the day. Because Alison did such a wonderful job taking care of the few things that did go wrong, I didn�t even know about them until after the wedding! Both my husband and I were happy and stress-free on our wedding day thanks to Alison and would not have wanted it to be any other way.

Other than marrying my amazing husband, Alison was the best thing that happened to me on Februaury 21st! Alison made me feel comfortable and confident with her services. She was always organized, prompt and professional. What I really loved about her is her bubbly, positive attitude and her creative eye. She is full of cute and unique ideas to make your wedding stand out and NOT be a "cookie-cutter" wedding. On the day and night of, she was on duty from start to finish. She made sure that everything ran smoothly so that me and my family could relax and enjoy the night. If there were any issues, I didn't know about them because Alison dealt with them always with a smile on her face! I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Alison to anyone who is considering needing anywhere from a little to a lot of help with their planning. Oh, and I must add that she is the most resourceful, internet savvy girl I know!!!

I feel extremely blessed to have found Alison while looking for wedding vendors. She provided me with her day-of coordinator services for my December 6th wedding, as well as a lot of advice and support leading up to the big day. Alison was a true professional, a saviour and just a ray of sunshine on our wedding day! I honestly don't know how my wedding would have turned out without her services.

I wasn't always sure I needed a day-of coordinator, I chatted with and received quotes from a few other planners, and I just didn't feel that they were a "fit" for me and my wedding. When I met Alison, it was like we were old friends, we talked forever, and I felt that she understood my vision for my day, which was very important to me! She has so many incredible and creative ideas for DYI projects and saving money without compromising quality, I loved getting her pre-wedding input, she's such a cool chick!

Alison kept in contact with me via email for 2-3 months leading the wedding, I took on WAY too much before my wedding and I was beyond overwhelmed. Alison helped me keep my sanity, she designed a wedding day timeline for me, an agenda for all involved, and she attended my rehearsal just to be sure she knew all the key players and to know that she was familiar with my venue. She blew me away even before the wedding day arrived!

On the day-of, Alison helped set-up everything beautifully at the ceremony and reception venue. She dealt with a few issues on her own and I didn't even hear about them until after the wedding was over! She was in touch with all my vendors keeping them in check, she kept everything on time, running smoother than I ever imagined! My wedding party was all new to the job, Alison kept them all in the know, and on task. Anything I didn't think of, she did, and she took care of it before I could even think of it! She even arranged for my new husband and I to have 15 minutes of alone time before the reception in our own room with our own plate of hor d'oeuvres! Alison saved the day with a bridal kit she gave me, I used nearly everything in it, somehow, she thinks of everything! If anyone approached me at the reception, I just referred them to her and she dealt with them, no matter what the issue! I never worried about how my day was flowing, I knew everything was perfectly handled in Alison's very capable hands!

I had SO many people compliment me on being the most relaxed bride they'd ever seen, I have Alison to thank for that! On the wedding day and still one month later, I have people asking me for her information so they can hire her for their next event! My friends, family and my husband and I were all incredibly impressed by how perfect the day went, and for that, I will be eternally grateful for Alison!

Alison, of A Hot Pink Petticoat, is a woman who knows what she is doing. She is detail-oriented, organized, creative and ready to take charge of a situation when necessary. She figures out and confirms what her clients need and want and she delivers. It is as simple as that. She is an excellent resource for anyone planning an important event. Let me tell you about what she did for me.

I recently got married in September of 2008. I consider myself to be a fairly organized person, but I do have a tendency towards procrastination. Alison kept my husband and I on track in terms of the little details that often fall on a bride and grooms lap weeks before the big day. She made sure that we were thinking about every detail so that we would not have little, annoying things pop up on our wedding day. And guess what? The day went by so smooth! We had a fabulous wedding and really appreciated the assistance Alison provided to us. She is extremely professional and knows what to do and who to talk to. No job is below her, she is there to help out in any way she can. She was even an honourary Bridesmaid with all of the little things she did for me!

Alison is passionate about her work and passionate about making peoples dreams come true. Hire her! You won't regret it!

Alison was by far one of our best vendors at our October 4, 2008 wedding. I wasn't even sure I needed a day-of-coordinator, and I am SO glad that she came into my life!

Originally what I was looking for in a coordinator was peace of mind. Knowing that on the day of the wedding, there was someone there to take care of any disasters if they popped up without me having to deal with it. Having Alison on my side meant I got much more than that! During the planning process, she was always available for any question I had, no matter how seemingly insignficant they were at the time. When I started feeling stressed, it was great knowing that all I had to do was have a chat with her and I'd feel better and under control!

When the wedding day arrived, she was an absolute lifesaver. She was the extra pair of hands I needed to get the flowers delivered to the church. She was the point of contact at the church before I arrived for any family members who had questions. She organized procession so that I didn't have to stress about who walked when. During the ceremony, I actually had a moment where I felt so calm knowing that Alison was already over at the reception location making sure everything was in order. It was a wondeful feeling!!

However it was at the reception that I realized how truly valueable she was. When my husband and I arrived after photographs, she had EVERYTHING taken care of so that we were able to take 10 minutes alone before the big party began. She kept on top of the schedule so that I never worried about it once. My family loved her and said that they were grateful that she was there as she took care of any little issue or request they had, even when it was running to the drug store for some pain medication!

I actually used to work as an event coordinator, so that is why I didn't think I needed one for the day of the wedding. Having gone through this experience now, I would absolutely recommend it - not just having a day-of coordinator, but having Alison as that person! A wedding coordinator is not just someone who keeps a list of phone numbers and a timeline - it is so much more than that and it requires a special person who is not only organized and diligent, but who is creative, loyal, caring and supportive.

My husband and I were both so elated with the work that Alison did and both agree that she was what made our wedding day so wonderful for us - we were able to relax and enjoy it knowing that everything was in her capable hands.
