  Incredible wedding planner

  This review is long overdue, but so so deserved. We don’t even know where to begin with Alusha. She was just the absolute best and we couldn’t have imagined planning our wedding without her. She was the perfect mix of fun, down to earth energy and pure professionalism. We met with several wedding planners, but from the moment we met with Alusha we felt an instant connection. She was the perfect mix of fun, down to earth energy and pure professionalism. We met with several wedding planners, but from the moment we met with Alusha we felt an instant connection. She listened to our vision, kept us organized, but most importantly made the whole process FUN. On the day of, we knew we could let go completely and let her handle all the details. She is a natural leader who seamlessly took charge.
  In the weeks leading up to the wedding she took over managing all our vendors and coordinated all the timelines. What really sets Alusha apart is that she genuinely wants to make your day meaningful and treat it as an important celebration without the overwhelming “this is the most important day of your life” pressure. She consistently reminded us to focus on what mattered the most: enjoying the day and creating beautiful memories rather than stressing over perfection (not an easy task for me). She really understands that a wedding is a beautiful and important day, but not the pinnacle of your life. Her attitude was so refreshing and allowed us to fully enjoy the experience without losing site of the bigger picture.

  Wedding coordination

  We hired Alusha as our month-of wedding coordinator and Julia as our day-of coordinator, and we cannot recommend them enough! From the very beginning, they were informative, responsive, and incredibly organized. They took the time to understand our vision and ensured every detail was executed. On the day of our wedding, they managed everything seamlessly, allowing us to fully enjoy our day without any stress. Their professionalism, calm demeanour, and attention to detail were exactly what we hoped for. Thanks to them, our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. Alusha and Julia will go above and beyond to make your day perfect!

  The professionalism and grace with which Alusha from A Lush Affair showcased was amazing. Our expectations for our big day were surpassed in every conceivable way. Alusha’s commitment to making our wedding a memorable one was always top of mind.   Highly professional team!

  I had the pleasure of working with Alusha over the past nine months leading up to my wedding reception. Our package was for partial planning, and she was instrumental in recommending vendors, following up with vendors, and other aspects of the planning process, including some things we had to troubleshoot space-wise. Although I found some vendors and the venue separately prior to hiring A Lush Affair, I still needed help in that area. Every single vendor that Alusha recommended was high quality. Any time I interacted with her when I was stressed out, she made me feel that everything will be all right (and it was!) She is always ready to offer ideas and to problem-solve.
  
  My day-of coordinator, Erin D., was also amazing. Any time I needed help on the day of the event, she was there for me and was so pleasant and on top of things. She took initiative with a couple of things in the set-up of the event, and they were great calls (she made sure to communicate the changes before the start of the event to get my OK). Erin was my rock on the day of the wedding reception!

  The reason this was the best day of our lives!

  My husband and I cannot thank Alusha enough! We worked with Alusha as our day-of/month-of coordinator and it was the BEST money spent for sure! She put everything together perfectly, made sure all of our vendors were organized and informed of the plan, and was such a rockstar on the day of! She brought the perfect level of excitement and calmness to the event - she assured us that everything was going perfectly and just let us focus on being present with each other and our loved ones. 10/10, would absolutely recommend! Thank you Alusha, you are the best!

  A Lush Affair is Amazing!

  We partnered with Alusha from A Lush Affair for the month leading up to our wedding and the day of. She did an amazing job with the itinerary and making sure everything was perfect for our big day. All of her hard work allowed us to really soak in our wedding day and not stress about the details, because she thought of everything! I can't say enough about how great our experience was.

  Just go ahead and hire her already

  We hired Alusha as our Month-of-Coordinator for our wedding this summer. In hindsight, I wish we hired her to plan the whole thing! She really made the final month leading up to the wedding so easy for us. Friends kept asking us if we were stressed and we were genuinely just so relaxed knowing Alusha had everything handled. We're so thankful for her knowledge of the wedding and event industry. It definitely made a difference. I promise you, if you're thinking about getting a coordinator or planner, you should just go ahead and hire Alusha. Her services are absolutely worth the (very reasonable) investment.
  
  She's also just an authentic and great human, so she's pretty nice to be around. :) xo

  Detailed Review: Alusha is a WIZARD. Our wedding was absolutely MAGICAL, and it was all thanks to her! It started about a month out from the big day when we sent all our vendor information and rough itinerary to Alusha, where she compiled everything into a document that included contact information, key players, and the schedule for the day. Developing this document was an iterative process, and with lots of help and input from Alusha given her previous experience and knowledge, the final product was even better than what my husband and I could have ever thought of. Alusha’s help was particularly appreciated when trying to figure out our photography schedule: our wedding didn’t follow a typical timeline, so when we were stuck on how to effectively create a schedule for our photographer and figure out where we wanted to go for photos, all of Alusha’s suggestions were spot on and came together perfectly.
  
  For us, it was extra helpful working with Alusha due to her incredible knowledge of venues inside the Distillery District (we had both our ceremony and reception at the Loft). Because of her prior experience, she was able to advise us on how to access the venue (our wedding overlapped with the Christmas Market), what important information to give our guests, how/when to deliver our personal decorations to the venue, the timing for other vendors to arrive, etc. We would have been completely unprepared, given the complexities of the Distillery District if it wasn’t for Alusha!
  
  The photos I attached here are of the venue. We provided candles and some other personal items and had flowers delivered. We gave Alusha a basic description of what we wanted, along with some photos for inspiration, and Alusha was able to put it all together! Taking our first few steps into the finished space took our breath away – Alusha made sure it looked SPECTACULAR!
  
  Alusha was so professional and fun, and her relaxed demeanor was EVERYTHING – it helped us feel super calm leading up to the ceremony! It was precisely the type of “vibe” we wanted for the person who was ensuring that everything was running smoothly. When we were preparing the music to walk down the aisle, Alusha was able to tell each member of the bridal party when to start their walk. She timed it so well!
  
  As an added bonus: our guests loved her! Our MC worked with her closely throughout the night, and he had nothing but positive things to say about their interactions! Along with our wedding party and parents, they loved how professional yet personable and relaxed she was – her energy was infectious, and it helped everyone to take that extra breath to relax and be present in the moment!
  
  As stated above, we 10/10 strongly recommend Alusha to anyone who wants to have a fantastic wedding! She is so skilled and hard-working; we appreciate her efforts to ensure that everything related to the wedding came together for one perfect evening!   So Valuable!

  Alusha was so great to work with from start to finish. We hired her for month of services so that we didn’t have to be stressed out before and during our wedding day.   We could not have asked for a better planner. We decided to plan a Toronto wedding all the way from southern Arizona, and Alusha was the best decision we could have made. The night was absolutely perfect and exactly what we had imagined, if not more. Alusha made planning a wedding from a different country a complete breeze and totally stress-free. Coming from a very indecisive person, it was very comforting knowing that I could completely trust in her and her suggestions, thoughts, inputs, etc. We really couldn’t have done it without her and the whole process was just an amazing experience all around.
