Alexandra Lillian Weddings & Events is a wedding planning service based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. It is owned and operated by Alexandra Younger, who believes that wedding planning requires its professionals to be open and communicative. Alex was drawn to romance and weddings at a tender age and loves to help clients with wedding planning as part of her life-long calling.

Experience

Alexandra is the founder and chief planner of this business. With more than eight years of experience, she has worked on weddings of varying size. Alex is a graduate of the University of Winnipeg and has also earned wedding planner certification with the Weddings Planners Institute of Canada (WPIC). Prior to starting her own company, she gained invaluable experience as an intern planning a number of large, high-profile wedding events. While very serious about her business pursuits, Alexandra also finds time to volunteer with some of Winnipeg’s non-profit organizations: Athena Leadership, United Way's GenNext Council, the Derek Twomey Scholarship for Sport (SlapIt2Me), the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope, and Strength in Heels. Services offered

All wedding clients are offered an initial consultation session that is complimentary. On offer are three different service packages. For clients who want assistance with all planning aspects for the entire process, the Full Planning package allows them to relax while the business takes care of everything. Then, for clients who have done most of the planning themselves but would like to hand over the reins a short time before their wedding day, the Month of Coordination package allows them to enjoy what work they’ve done while Alexandra sees to its execution and coordination on the big day. And finally, for clients who have planning experience and are eager to learn more about timelines, rehearsal, budgeting, decor, vendors, and more, the General Consultation package is offered to help with their event planning.
