Bryn made our wedding a truly carefree day, which allowed us the time and opportunity to remember every special moment. We would highly recommend An Artistic Affair to anybody who may be considering retaining professional wedding planning services. We would also offer a brief piece of advice to any couple that is not considering hiring a wedding planner – hire one and make sure it’s Bryn!

Bryn helped us with our daughter’s wedding this summer and I would highly recommend her services. She has all the attributes that you would look for in a wedding planner; organized, upbeat, flexible, resourceful, creative and thoroughly professional. Bryn helped us select many excellent vendors and gently kept us on track throughout the planning process. She’s a born mediator, an attentive listener and is always respectful of everyone’s opinions. As an example, our daughter expressed concern that the location of the wedding ceremony was too close to the resort’s verandah and didn’t provide sufficient privacy. On very short notice and facing some logistical hurdles, Bryn nevertheless committed to “making this happen” and moved the ceremony to a preferable location. Bryn is an excellent trouble-shooter and has a calming influence on those around her. She was invaluable on the wedding day and an absolute pleasure to work with from beginning to end.

An Artistic Affair provided event planning services for our daughter's wedding. Bryn was amazing at taking our many (often changing) ideas and making them happen. She was extremely professional, organized and efficient, as well as just being an awesome person to work with and get to know! The wedding day went off beautifully and we were able to really enjoy it and be present in the moment. All of the many details were taken care of and we didn't have to worry about a thing. Definitely a worthwhile investment!

Bryn was wonderful to work with every step of the way. She was an excellent resource and really helped us stay organized. She had planning sheets that she would send out to us periodically throughout the planning process outlining next steps to think about and kept us on track with both planning and budgeting. She is very flexible and gave us both as much help and autonomy as we wanted. She offered creative and practical opinions with each step but was never put off if we declined her suggestions. She has a great rapport with local vendors and was a fantastic resource for finding the right people to be our photographer, DJ, cake supplier, etc. She really spent the time to get to know us and what our vision for our wedding day was about. On the day of the rehearsal, we ran through the event step-by-step. After we had reviewed the itinerary I really felt that we had planned as much as we could and was very excited for the next day. I really felt that Bryn knew what we wanted for our wedding day and I told her that from then on that she was the primary person to make any last minute decisions and make sure that the wedding day went according to plan. Our wedding event was smooth and as wonderful as we had hoped. Knowing that Bryn was there gave me such peace of mind and really allowed me to enjoy the day and take in each moment as it happened. To this day, I have no idea if there were any last minute glitches or issues, but I certainly didn't notice them if they happened and I'm sure Bryn made sure that the event was seamless and to our liking.

Because of Bryn's hard work and incredible talent for organization and logistics, we were able to enjoy our wedding and celebrate with our guests worry-free, knowing that every detail had been taken care of and that the progress of the event was in good hands. Our wedding involved extremely challenging logistical issues, including multiple vendors, a complicated food and beverage plan, a large wedding party, and transporting 160 guests to an island on small boat tenders, and Bryn made it all happen seamlessly. We had a lot of grand ideas for the wedding and Bryn was supportive of our wishes and creative with her problem solving to make our ideas happen. She was generous with helpful suggestions and had great contacts for vendors we never would have found on our own. Very importantly, Bryn had the ideal leadership style to execute the event perfectly down to every last detail while keeping everyone happy (the staff, the vendors, us, and our guests especially!) She was professional and responsive not only for us, but for everyone else working on our wedding. Bryn applied her incredible sense of style and vision to our wedding and all of the elements came together because of her hard work - it looked and went exactly how we had imagined, but better!
