Met Aussie through a close friend of mine and could not recommend her more as a wedding planner. She and her team came through for us on every front and truly made our day magical!
She has impeccable taste, incredible patience, and insane organization skills. She was truly there every step of the way. I was a VERY hands-off bride (work happens) with a fiancé bordering on "groomzilla" territory (bless her, honestly) and together they pulled off the dream wedding I wasn't even aware that I wanted.

Aussie made everything so flawless for our wedding day. She and her team did such an amazing job from the moment we hired her till it was time to pack up everything at the end of our wedding night. Aussie was a wonderful help to us planning our wedding day! In particular, we both live in Calgary and so having someone in Toronto to visit vendors, venues, etc. was indispensable! Aussie is a very friendly and personal individual who is incredibly organized and detail-oriented. These skills went a long ways to transform a potentially overwhelming, burdening planning task into a joyful, exciting adventure!

Aussie was also very good at gently prodding us as we are a little bit last minute with our planning habits! She never got frustrated with our indecisiveness or our hesitations to commit to a decision. Instead, she was supportive of our desire to plan the perfect wedding day for our family and friends and in the end everything turned out wonderfully!

I found An Elegant Soiree Wedding & Events by fate, while looking on social media, they were tagged in a photo, so I've decided to checked it and I'm glad I did. Having Aussie as our wedding planner was the best decision we've ever made. Words cannot describe how phenomenal Aussie has been to work with. She is very knowledgeable, detail- oriented, and how she pays attention to small details. Once you send her txt messages , she replies in an instant no matter what time of the day. Knowing the fact that my husband & I live in Calgary and our wedding is in Toronto, she made us feel relaxed, even though we just talked over the phone, she has built a trust with us. I was determined to be as relaxed as possible on my wedding day. I was even willing to forego some of the more traditional wedding customs (no cake, no first dance, no elaborate dress or veil). But I did want to have a super fun wedding with a live band and I did want it to be in Toronto where all my friends and family were. Easy, no? Well... sort of.
For starters, although I am from Toronto, I live in California and since I travel overseas for work, I could not make it to Toronto for many arrangements until a week before our wedding day. Also, my fiancé, hailed from a small town in Ohio and half of his family had never left the state let alone the country - we ended up arranging a lot of their travel plans as well as fun things to do in Toronto.
So I am so incredibly great fun that the venue I had chosen, Caffino, recommended I contact Aussie. I got in touch with her 3 months before the wedding - hardly any time at all! She was amazing from our first phone call: she totally got our style, worke with the venue and our band and recommended fantastic vendors for flowers and favors.
She was meticulously detail oriented and ridiculously responsive. I would email her from Asia when I was sure she was asleep, and I would get a response right away! I was convinced she didn’t sleep. I would have been a total mess trying to plan things and arrange timelines for the various vendors to arrive at the venue without her. To be honest, our whole day would not have happened without her.
On the day of the wedding, we had the most beautiful flowers and set up, live music, baby sitters for children, absolutely to die for, delicious sweets table (as attested to by our guests), food that was serve on time and hot and a trivia game! And just because Aussie was on site and on top of it all, we ended up having the best night of our lives, dancing and drinking and having an amazing time with our friends and family well past closing time.
Aussie was an absolute joy to work with - always accommodating and guiding us when we needed s directions without ever being pushy. If you want to have a beautiful wedding, work with Aussie. If you want to be relaxed and have fun on your wedding, work with Aussie. I can not recommend her enough. She was was a magician in making t all happen for us!

Aussie is a wonderful wedding planner. Her bubbly and upbeat personality kept me sane during the last month before the wedding. I used her services for month of coordination but she was always an email or a text away and never hesitated to offer advice or recommendations when I asked her. She also checked in with me every so often to make sure I am doing well and to see if I needed any help. Having Aussie during the last month of wedding planning made all the difference! Aussie was a huge help through every step of our wedding process. She helped get our vision from paper to reality suggesting things that just made our day that much more perfect. With the amount of stress that anyone who’s ever gotten married can tell you it really helped ease our mind to know that we had someone we can turn to if anything wasn’t according to our plan.

We remember thinking to ourselves that we knew everything we needed and with our very first meeting with Aussie, we were in for a shock as we were far from knowing what was needed. But despite us having a lot to take care of we never felt overwhelmed.

Having Aussie there to help keep us on schedule with our meeting with vendors and our different appointments made the entire process seamless. The fact that she kept communication with our vendors to ensure that they were in line with our vision was definitely more than welcome.

On our wedding day she had her hands full but she was more than helpful! She made sure our church ceremony had all the decorations and helped organize the entourage. She had even decorated the reception, ensuring the tables were set with our centrepieces and our giveaways which turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined while making sure that the program ran on time.

She made our big day not so much about stressing about the little things but instead let us focus on the fact that it’s our big day. If you’re getting married we highly recommend to Aussie she’s absolutely amazing at what she does!

Wow!!! I do not have enough words to describe how AMAZING Aussie is. She was my day of wedding planner for my wedding on Oct 14, 2017 and my day was without a doubt perfect mostly because of her. She is super friendly, professional, reliable, fun to work with, very easy to communicate with, reasonably priced and super organized. I would very highly recommend hiring her for your wedding and also for any other event planning needs
