Andrea was amazing to work with - always kind and calm, super organized, and always available to help! They did a great job of listening to our dream for the wedding, offering helpful suggestions and executing the perfect day! We had the wedding of our dreams with absolutely no stress and the best memories to last a lifetime. Definitely the best decision we made!

Planning a wedding, especially from another province, can be very stressful. Andrea and her team made the whole experience a dream. I was setup to know what decisions needed to be made when and supported through each of those decisions to have a great day and still stay within our budget. The end product was a day I wish I could go back and relive over again. Andrea and her team were a huge part of ensuring that is the case. Their attention to detail brought my dream wedding to life. They were a joy to deal with leading up to and on the day of. Hiring Borrowed and Blu for planning and our decor was the best decision I made (next to saying yes to the groom :))

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Borrowed & Blu for our wedding day! They turned our vision into so much more than we could have ever imagined! The weight it took off our shoulders for the planning and day off coordination was priceless! The level of commitment and reliability from the entire team was very impressive, from early morning phone calls with Andrea organizing seating arrangenents to midnight McDonald's runs the night of the wedding, they were always there to go above and beyond whenever we needed them. There was no detail left untouched and we are eternally grateful for all the hard work the team did to help make the most amazing day that much more special and memorable. Andrea and her team are the BEST!!!

Hired Borrowed & Blu for my second wedding ceremony/reception.
From the beginning when she failed to call me on our scheduled phone appointment, then I go on Instagram and she is sprawled out on a lounger chair, I should've known what I was in for.
The wedding day started with several people coming up to me telling me that my grooms name was spelled completely wrong on the seating chart. Not a spelling error, but a completely different name. She tried to blame this error on me (why would I ever give her a completely different name?!). In addition, several other names were misspelled. She wasn't around to fix the error and had no one working for her around to fix it. She refunded my money for this once she realized she couldn't blame anyone else for the error.
I also paid $175 plus tax for a flower arrangement to be put on the guest book table that I never laid eyes on and was never put on the guest book table. She said someone else must have moved it before the reception started. Makes absolutely no sense. I would not have paid that amount of money for an arrangement for it to be put elsewhere. I paid her a lot of money to put that on a specific table and she didn't do her job. I still don't know if there was a $175 arrangement at the wedding. She has no proof, but I have proof it was NOT on the table I paid for it to be on. Refused to refund me for this error and again, tried to blame someone else. Unprofessional.
Also, I paid $57 plus tax for the most pathetic hydrangea centrepieces. I tried not to think about it too much at the wedding, as it would have ruined my day. As a business owner I would've been embarrassed to put those one someones wedding reception tables.
Would never recommend this vendor.

Andrea and her team are fantastic - they really brought our vision to life, everything was perfect. Andrea is extremely attentive, and was able to take our ideas and bring them to life beautifully. We did the distance service from another province; it was easy to do, Andrea and her team were always accessible and able to answer any questions we had promptly.

I was the bride that didn’t want to plan a wedding so talked my fiancé into hiring a wedding planner. We live in Toronto and were getting married in St John’s and found Andrea with a simple Google search and booked her after one phone call. Andrea took lots of time to meet with us, have phone calls and regularly keep us on track for our tasks in the months leading up to the wedding.

About 3 weeks out from the wedding we were feeling the pressure, but Andrea worked her wonderful magic and took all the stress away. She reassured us that having her on the day-of coordination would ensure everything would go smoothly – and she was right. The biggest piece of advice I had received leading up to the wedding was “Things will go wrong, and that’s okay, no one else will notice and just go with it”. The problem is, NOTHING went wrong. Not a thing. The day was more perfect and flowed so smoothly because of Borrowed & Blu. Our bridal party and families could enjoy the day and not worry about logistics, and we could spend all our time with our families and friends.

Every single vendor Andrea recommended was also perfect. We didn’t have to spend hours researching a million venues, caterers, hair & make-up artists, photographers, florals, transportation, DJ’s, etc. because Andrea would send along the best of the best for us to work with. She did this knowing our style, preferences and who she thought would be the best match for us. Andrea saved us weeks of work, months of stress, and gave us the best wedding day we could have ever asked for. I also like to think that we’ve made a lifelong friend (or she’s just THAT good).
