They embrace a modern aesthetic to create seamless, detailed, love-filled weddings and events. Services Offered

Cornelia J Events offers three bespoke service collections: month-of coordination, design and full planning. Month-of coordination is ideal for those couples who would like to do the planning themselves while having a professional take care of finalizing the logistics and executing their wedding day. Design is all about helping couples bring their ideas to life by focusing on the visual aspects and feeling of the space to create an aesthetic that breathes life into your love story. Lastly, full planning is the ideal service for those couples who are seeking the assistance of a nuptial artist from start to finish.

Would only recommend for day-of services

We hired Cornelia as our month of wedding planner. She has a fantastic app she lends to clients called aisle planner which helped keep us on track with our to dos. However, we found that went took on a it more work than expected. Cornelia’s help didn’t really kick in until the week of our wedding, despite paying for month of services. Many of our vendors hadn’t heard from her and we had to follow u on a lot of items. The day of the wedding went smoothly overall, but there were some big misses - she didn’t put our all our decor, food was never replenished, some small items were broken at the end of the night, she forgot to give us our liquor order receipt to refund extra booze. Cornelia is a very lovely and professional vendor, but I think is best suited for day-of services and would recommend having someone at the wedding still bring in charge of oversight to direct her as needed.

Also as a queer couple we found she worked from a very heteronormative mindset. For example, her wedding checklist was for a bride and groom couple although she knew we were lesbians. There was a lot of adjustments we had to ask for to ensure inclusion.

Hi, I'm Cornelia and it's so nice to meet you!

I love chai lattes, fresh flowers, making cheeseboards, and most importantly, my son, husband and two horses.

After three years of experience working in corporate event planning and loving every minute of planning my own wedding, I decided to take the leap I'd been dreaming of through Cornelia J Events.

I'm happiest when I get to plan and organize—whether it be a dinner party, a weekend away or a wedding. Working in the event industry is my creative outlet and I'm proud, honoured and humbled to be a part of so many beautiful love stories.

I believe that if you pay attention to the details, the big picture will take care of itself. I can't wait to find out what inspires you and to help you plan the captivating details of your most special day.
