  A Stress-Free Dream Wedding, Thanks to Khatija and her amazing Team!

  We had the pleasure of working with Khatija and her incredible team for wedding management services for two of our major events: our Welcome Reception and our Hindu Wedding Ceremony, both held at Embassy Grand in Brampton, Ontario. From the very beginning, Khatija was everything we hoped for—professional, organized, warm, and genuinely invested in making sure our celebrations went smoothly and joyfully.
  
  We planned our entire wedding in just seven months, and while that may seem like a tight timeline, Khatija made the process feel seamless. From the start, she made sure all our concerns were addressed in a timely and thoughtful manner, never letting anything fall through the cracks. As a Hindu couple, one of our biggest priorities was ensuring that our events ran exactly on schedule and that our detailed itinerary captured every important ritual and moment. Khatija took this responsibility seriously and ensured that everything flowed exactly as planned.
  
  And if there was ever anything we missed? She quietly stepped in and worked it out without ever burdening us. That kind of trust and initiative is invaluable on your wedding day.
  
  Another thing we truly appreciated was how attentive she was to us as a couple—not just in terms of logistics, but our well-being. She checked in regularly to make sure we were fed, hydrated, and feeling energized so that we could actually enjoy our events. Her genuine care allowed us to be fully present and soak in every moment.
  
  Of course, there were a few inevitable hiccups behind the scenes, but Khatija handled them with utmost discretion and professionalism. We didn’t hear about any issues until after the wedding (if at all!), which speaks volumes about her calm, capable leadership.
  
  Her team was equally fantastic—organized, helpful, and kind. They made all our guests feel welcomed, managed the crowds beautifully, and ensured every detail was executed just the way we envisioned.
  
  We found Khatija when Pathik came across her Instagram page, and from that very first interaction, we felt confident that she was the right fit. Even though we only booked her for wedding management services, the experience felt like so much more. Her level of dedication and involvement went far beyond our expectations.
  
  If you’re wondering whether to hire a planner—don’t think twice. Hire Khatija. She was a crucial part of our wedding journey, and we are endlessly thankful for everything she and her team did to make our events so smooth, joyful, and truly unforgettable.

  The absolute GOAT (greatest of all time)

  Our story with Khatija started at one of our friends’ wedding. We had just gotten engaged a couple months ago and we had most of our vendors secured at that point. One topic that Karen (My now-husband) and I went back and forth on was whether or not we should have some kind of coordinating team for our wedding.   Our story with Khatija started at one of our friends’ wedding. We had just gotten engaged a couple months ago and we had most of our vendors secured at that point. One topic that Karen (My now-husband) and I went back and forth on was whether or not we should have some kind of coordinating team for our wedding. We hadn’t been to many weddings and the ones we did go to weren’t that well coordinated - so our only experiences were bad ones. When we went to Karen’s friend’s wedding, he was a groomsmen so that meant we would get to see and be apart of the behind the scenes of the wedding. This is where I met the lovely Khatija! I remember that I was standing and Khatija was helping the bride (which she is notoriously always doing even though she has a million tasks to do) and she looked at me and said how she loved my outfit. That was it. Our paths were intertwined at that point. We got to see Khatija and her team handle 2 events for our friends and saw how effortlessly and eloquently they handled it. I remember going home and telling Karen that we must have her on our team! We had arranged a meeting with Khatija and had opted to go with the month of coordination package. What I loved most about that call was how she first asked us what have you done so far and helped us pick a package that would best align with our needs and vision. She was super helpful and attentive to all of our needs and overall vision.
  
  We had both our wedding and reception at Borgata Event Center in Vaughan. Khatija and her team were able to be on site much before the events would start and see the lay of the land. They took the time to meet all the vendors in person and made sure they knew that Khatija and her team would be their point of contact and go to person for anything (NOT Karen and I lol). BUT it didn’t start there, she sent out “hello” emails to our vendors introducing her and her team and all the contact details prior (almost 4 weeks ahead) to the events. I really liked that.
  
  Karen and I are both Hindu so our wedding had many many steps to it which meant that our itinerary needed to be fool-proof and top notch to make sure everything went smoothly. Our wedding was 500 people so we were very concerned about everything going well. My biggest concern was that I wanted to make sure we were ON SCHEDULE (I didn’t even try to hope for ahead of schedule cause with Hindu weddings, that was very much unheard of). As per our package Khatija would reach out 3 months prior to the events to get the ball rolling. She had a rough timeline of events all ready for us and we would just make tweaks and fine tune it. By the last meeting we had a very good timeline of events but Karen and I were still concerned about how (and if) we would stay as per the timeline - coordinating 500 people sounded insane. BUT fast forward to the day of, our wedding had finished and we were 1.5hrs AHEAD of schedule. To this day I still don’t know how we pulled it off but I can guarantee that Khatija and her team were the ones that pulled it off. Our parents and families were beyond impressed as they too didn’t think it was possible. After our wedding day went so smoothly we were more than relaxed on our reception day. Even that went down without any issues and of course Khatija and her team were the ones to thank.
  
  I could go on and on about how Khatija solved our problems, fought our battles and made our lives easier but that would take forever. So, to end, Khatija and her team were the most organized, thoughtful, respectful and supportive people ever. Every bride wants their wedding day to be the best and least stressful. I can wholeheartedly say that Khatija made this possible for me. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. We love you Khatija ❤️ I gained a friend for life out of her!

  The Best Decision We Made for Our Wedding!

  I first met Khatijah when my sister was planning her wedding. My sister is super Type A and doesn’t give recommendations easily, but she couldn’t stop raving about Khatijah. I saw why firsthand when I helped with her wedding. So, when it was my turn to get married, I already knew who I wanted to hire.

  As soon as we hired Khatijah, all the stress around the venue and vendors disappeared. Her team handled everything—every question, every request, every hiccup. Anytime I had a concern, it was like Khatijah had already solved it before I even finished explaining. She was very reassuring and communicative every step of the way.
  
  On the big day, she was an absolute lifesaver. I had four outfit changes, and Khatijah had everything perfectly timed. She told me when to eat, when to change, where to be—basically, she took care of everything so I didn’t have to think about a single thing. My husband and I spent the whole night dancing, taking pictures, and just enjoying the moment.
  
  She honestly brought my visions to life as I had a non-traditional wedding cake and quirky exit. She empowered me to do with the out-of-the-box ideas and assured me they'll turn out as imagined. The Dazzle and Dream Events team made those fantasies come to life!
  
  Khatijah even dealt with random last-minute issues, like guests not finding their names on the seating chart (my only job, my bad). She had it all under control without missing a beat. My husband, who was *so* against hiring a planner at first, now says it was the most important decision we made. We still laugh and say, “Can you imagine if we didn’t have Khatijah?!”
  
  Working with her was honestly stress-free, and I CANNOT recommend her enough. If you’re even slightly on the fence about hiring a planner, trust me—just do it. Khatijah made our wedding day fun, stress-free, and absolutely perfect. We’re forever grateful!!!!

  Amazing Coordinator!

  We were fortunate to have Khatija coordinate our wedding. Planning a 200-person outdoor Indian wedding at a venue that required extra support was a significant task, especially as we were living outside the country. From the beginning Khatija was professional and kind — she made detailed itineraries, helped coordinate everything with our parents and even came out to a site visit! She was incredibly responsive, addressed all our concerns with patience and expertise and gave us invaluable advice.   Hiring Khatija was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding! Knowing that we would be having a big Bengali wedding (500+ guests), we knew we needed some help on the day of our reception. Khatija was the perfect planner for us!   We hired Dazzle & Dream Events for our month of coordination for our reception this summer. Our reception had over 300 people and Khatija did an amazing job from planning out the detailed agenda/ itinerary to managing all the vendors until leading up to and throughout the event. Khatija was extremely detailed and ensured there were no gaps in planning. She was very professional and easy and prompt in her communications. She helped us deal with difficult vendors whenever issues occurred. Khatija was definitely a critical piece in making sure our wedding reception went smoothly and on time. They were also always prepared, remembered things that even we would forget. Even though we got month of coordination, they were very active and responsive in other planning related questions we had that were outside of their job description. Our guests loved them and our wedding & reception day ran smoothly thanks to them! I would recommend them over and over again to anyone. If I had to do it again, I would probably hire them for more than just coordination, but also planning!

  Best wedding planner in the GTA!

  Khatija was incredible throughout our planning process. Before we signed on with her, my wife and I were feeling very lost and overwhelmed. Khatija helped us get right on track and ease any concerns we had.
  
  I highly recommend Khatija, she is very responsive, organized, and keeps on top of things, which we really appreciated considering we have very busy schedules.
  
  Khatija was amazing throughout the process, and she topped that during the day of the wedding and reception. She was very helpful throughout the day and took care of many things behind the scenes allowing us (and our family) to enjoy the day without having to worry about vendors, scheduling, etc.

  The BEST planner in the GTA!

  Where do I even start. I was first introduced to Dazzle & Dream's Khatija through a friend of mine. I had already began the bulk of wedding planning by then so was on the fence of hiring a planner for my big day but did it anyway because I had a feeling it would be hectic and BOY was I right!   Although we didn't bring Khatija on as a full time planner, she certainly acted like one. She helped in ways she didn't have to/ wasn't asked to and took initiative to bring the best out of this expensive, once-in-a-lifetime experience (she made extra vendor recos, helped w my gown, made social media reels, etc).
  
  Another thing about Khatija is that she is extremely thoughtful. For example, one thing I didn't think I needed so much was having some phone footage and she captured the order of the day in little bits as the day went by and by the end, I had this crazy beautiful insta story that I was able to share/ save. It was precious. These little things really count. When you involve vendors in your dream day, you only HOPE that they are genuinely invested in it as if it were their own. That was Khatija and that's what you'll get when bringing her on your team. She was a god send and I cannot thank her enough for everything she's done for us!
