Nicole and Emma from Details are fantastic. We hired them for our July 2022 wedding. They are personable, detail-oriented, great listeners, and are fantastic communicators. They are expert problem solvers, trouble shooters, and do everything with an upbeat, positive attitude that will help you get through any issues should they arise. Taking care of and consolidating all the pre-wedding vendor coordination and communication is crucial, but the real magic happens on your wedding day. There truly are so many moving pieces behind the scenes that all contribute to a great event experience for you and your guests…more than most people realize. It takes a professional, experienced team to ensure your wedding will run smoothly, and having the right team take care of all the operational needs is a must. If you want to relax and enjoy your special day, and want your guests to be fully present instead of running around “working” your wedding with stuff that will inevitably come up, get a wedding planner, and hire these ladies. There are no do-overs for your big day! Wedding planning doesn’t have to be stressful, it really can be a VERY fun part of the whole experience when you have the right team. It’s an investment you will not regret making. I know we felt it was worth every penny!

They did an amazing job for my wedding. They were responsive and accomodating for the long haul. They were happy to provide advice on vendors and were amazing to bouce problems off of when needed. I have heard horror stories of weddings running hours behind, but with the help of this amazing team I was able to stay within 10 minutes of our schedule and had an amazing wedding. Thank you all!!!

Our wedding was last weekend and we honestly can't say enough about Nicole and her team of bad-ass wedding ninjas! We booked Nicole as our day-of coordinator, but she was so much more than that. From a month out, she took over working with our vendors so that we could focus on other things. She is SO organized (her spreadsheets have spreadsheets), thoughtful (down to the last DETAIL), and she really nailed our style with her artistic vision and delivery.

Our day couldn't have possibly happened without her. She and her assistants were there on the day helping guests, vendors and US. I was late arriving to the venue due to behind the scenes stuff and she made sure that all the guests on site were taken care of (SO many people afterwards said they didn't even realize we were late, things seemed to flow so smoothly).

Nicole (and Jade & Brittany, her assistants) are so sweet and honestly think of everything. Nicole even offered to fill my plate with food for me so that I didn't have to worry about stepping all over my dress. I'm a naturally anxious person and planning a wedding was no different, but Nicole kept my mind at ease every step of the way. I honestly believe that every couple needs a wedding coordinator, and if you're not sure about it - DO IT! We were SO relaxed on our wedding day, with nothing to think about but each other and our loved ones. 12/10 Recommend Nicole and her team to make your day incredible, special and PERFECT!!

As a newly engaged couple who are based in the UK, we really wanted to have the wedding back in my birthplace of Canada but were naturally hesitant about organising a wedding located some 5,000 miles away - luckily we found Nicole! We can't express how thankful we are for everything she and her team did in delivering our dream wedding at Villa Eyrie. The whole process was seamless, and dare we say almost stress free! We were in regular contact with Nicole throughout the planning process and she made herself immediately available in person when we were back in Canada. The planning process was made straightforward through providing a structured timeline that removed the overwhelming feeling that can develop when planning a large event, and instead she would propose a tiered option for each required vendor for us to consider that ensured we focused on one aspect at a time as we led up to the big day.

The wedding day itself was everything we hoped for, and then some! Nicole exudes confidence and through this she had our complete trust that everything was in hand and that our guests were having the experience we hoped for. What impressed us both on the day was how much enjoyment Nicole gets from planning and her enthusiasm was simply infectious. For anyone looking to have their special day on Vancouver Island I cannot recommend Nicole highly enough, and her connections with all the vendors combined with her passion and professionalism for her job will ensure you have the day you dreamt of.

I can't say enough about the team at Details! Nicole was an absolutely incredible wedding planner, and they did a spectacular job on our decor. I didn't have to lift a finger on our wedding day, and I was constantly reassured that everything was under control. Nicole is a professional at what she does, and a ray of sunshine! I couldn't have asked for a better company to partner with for our wedding.

I am the mother of the bride. My daughter lives in the UK and the wedding was at Villa Eyrie and Brentwood College School. Because of the distance my daughter and her now husband made all the decisions with Nicoles guidance from afar. Through skype calls and multiple emails Nicole went above and beyond with her attention to detail, prompt responses, amazing recommendations and generally helping my daughter and husband achieve their vision of the wedding they had dreamed of. The day of the wedding went incredibly smoothly and Nicole with her Mary Poppins fanny pack was on top of everything including pinning the 2 year olds bow tie. The hair and makeup done by Alexis team were perfect. The flowers from Platinum Floral designs as recommended by Nicole were beyond beautiful, as was the decor and design provided by Nicole and her team. The pictures we have just received done by Artermis (another Nicole recommendation ) have brought back the memory of what a perfect day it was. I would recommend Nicole without reservation.

Over $1500 missing in gifts and cards thanks to the Planner leaving the basket in a partially hidden, public, unsecured area - not found for 4 days. She left an hour before the event ended - did not remain for the breakdown - claimed to have an assistant take over whom no-one met or saw.
She sniped at the groomsman who asked where the flowers for the pets collars were and ignored the need to locate them for the procession.
Planner failed to notice the Flower Girl was forgotten to be shown to the dressing room where she could have her hair at least brushed before walking down the aisle. Her hair hung in mats as though she had just crawled out of a swimming hole.

Nicole is absolutely amazing. The planning process was a joy- she has a gift of making dreams a reality. She has incredible connections and was able to give us a choice of top vendors in the area. Her ideas are completely on pointe, it was always as if she was reading our mind. We didn’t lift a finger the day of the wedding and really got to soak in all the details (and the details were a plenty!) Everything was smooth throughout the entire process, no surprises along the way at all, and the day of the wedding was perfection. Nicole is organized, professional, calm, and confident. The decor she provided and arranged for was all gorgeous and not a single detail was missed. Highly highly recommend Nicole and Details.
