Hiring Vanessa to be our day of wedding coordinator is the best decision we made. From the beginning of the day until the very end, everything went perfectly- and I owe it all to Vanessa. Even if there was any hiccups, it didn't matter because Vanessa handled it without me even knowing anything was wrong, delayed, etc. It seemed as though Vanessa was in 100 places all at once. If I had a question or concern, she appeared right in front of me. Her work is incredible. I had multiple family members and friends approach me at the wedding, and after the wedding commenting on how amazing my wedding coordinator is. Not only is Vanessa amazing at her job, but she is an amazing person as well. She is so kind and caring, and made sure everyone was happy. Thank you Vanessa for being apart of one of the biggest days of our lives, and for making it so perfect for us.

Words cannot express how thankful I am for everything that Vanessa did leading up to our wedding, the day before the wedding, and on the wedding day. She exceeded our expectations and really made everything come together. Initially we werent sure if we would need a coordinator, but when we realized that we were in need of another set of eyes, ears, and hands...we started searching for a coordinator, and came across Vanessa through our makeup artist. Vanessa worked with us the 3 months leading up to the wedding, during this time she really took the time and extreme consideration into what our vision was for our day. I am a VERY detail oriented person, and that directly translated into our wedding day, so even the small pieces were important to me, and Vanessa respected that and made sure to make note of even the small things that were important to us on the big day. She had so many resources for us to look at and work with, one in particular that comes to mind is her excel document that has alllll our info in a snapshot, so you can see what she has documented for the day. She also outlined a clear schedule for the day, which made us feel so at ease because we knew that there was a plan for each step of the way and that even when we were both stressed with our heads in the clouds on the wedding day...Vanessa was there to make sure everything was on track and expectations were in place for everyone involved. There are SO many moving parts to a wedding you don't anticipate, from the arrival of all vendors, to the setup, ceremony cues, dinner service, and take down of everything, and on the day of I didn't stress about any of these things thanks to Vanessa. All my husband and I had to worry about was getting ready and getting ourselves down that aisle, and the rest was just pure joy and fun. And this is only the things we were aware of Vanessa doing, I am sure there were so many things that Vanessa did behind the scenes that I never heard about or saw. Her attitude was amazing on the day of, she truly felt like a family member, she connected with so many of our guests. If you are contemplating if a coordinator is necessary and wondering if there is room in your budget, I am telling you that this was the best service that money can buy...she literally made our wedding day what we dreamed of...you need to hire her. The flowers, the food, the decor...thats all important, but it has to come together, the overall experience is what matters most and not having to worry about any of it after placing it in Vanessa's hands was so, so priceless. Vanessa, I cannot thank you enough...truly there are not enough words

I could not have imagined our wedding day without the support of Vanessa. She worked tirelessly to make sure our day went off without a hitch and nailed it. It took so much stress off of me and let me focus on what was most important. I am so thankful for her for making our day as special as it was! I would highly recommend Vanessa for your wedding and any event!!!

Vanessa came with our venue as our day of coordinator. We found her patient and knowledgeable about the venue. Her suggestions and warnings gave us notice about some loopholes/shortcomings in our venues contract, which gave us time to make arrangements; such as there were no wine glasses in our Bar contract. That could have been a big loss had she not warned us.
The day of though is when we found Vanessa the most helpful, she was organized and patient and kept us on track. The venue was set up exactly how we saw it in our heads and we couldn't have done a better job ourselves - and yet we didn't have to lift a finger. Thank you for all your hard work Vanessa.

Vanessa is so creative. She has such great ideas and a vast knowledge of the industry. We can’t compliment her enough for exceeding our expectations on our wedding day. I can’t wait to use her services to plan parties too!

Vanessa coordinated my wedding in October 2021. She swooped in last minute to save the day when the previous coordinator that we had hired fell through. From the beginning, she was enthusiastic, eager, super positive, and responsive. She drove all the way from London to Toronto to help us coordinate our rehearsal at the church and, of course, our wedding. Despite any tension or anxiety that may have arose within the wedding party on the big day, Vanessa (and her assistant) remained calm and collected. I cannot imagine my wedding day without her - she is the reason everything went so smoothly!

In the days and weeks after our wedding, my husband and I got many compliments from our wedding guests about Vanessa. Despite the hectic schedule that we had planned for our reception, she ensured that everything went smoothly and that we never ran late.

In addition to all of the above, her day-of coordination rate is very competitive (about $300-500 less than other coordinators in the GTA). Overall, I would recommend her to anybody looking for a day-of coordinator.

Vanessa was absolutely wonderful to work with. She made sure that everything was set up the way we wanted it and helped us navigate planning the wedding of our dreams. She was there for everything from the planning process, creating a timeline, the rehearsal the night before and was there to help coordinate the full day. Thanks to her, my husband and I didn't have to stress about anything at we were able to just enjoy our wedding day. My husband and I got married at Sydenham Ridge Estates - our package included a day-of coordinator which happened to be Vanessa with Dio Wedding and Events! Let's just say it was an amazing surprise, and a vendor that I didn't truly know I needed! Vanessa definitely knows what she is doing, she kept the day flowing flawlessly and ensured everything and everyone was exactly where they needed to be at any given time! She did all the running around the day of - something I definitely couldn't have done myself! She looked after myself and my husband from start to finish, always ensuring we had a drink in hand and bridged the communication between us and our vendors ensuring everyone was on the same page! We cannot recommend Vanessa enough!

Vanessa was our day of coordinator for our wedding in July and she was such a big help! She took a lot of stress off by communicating with vendors and managing the timeline the day of. She was always a step ahead and kept everything on track which took a lot of stress off me and my mom. Her attention to detail setting out all my décor really brought my vision to life and appreciated all her hard work.

I was the maid of honour for my sister’s wedding in June 2022. My sister had to go hide in her bridal suite to cry because of the stress that Vanessa had put her through. Vanessa had yelled at the vendors and my family. She did not coordinate my First Looks properly, and did not even schedule in a cake cutting OR the bouquet toss before the photographers or videographers were done for the night. She made my brother in law set up chairs on his wedding day, and kept going up to my sister to pester her with questions DURING the wedding. She did not coordinate the wedding procession, so some bridesmaids and groomsmen walked down on the wrong sides. She got mad at our band, she got mad at our DJs, she did not know where the wedding cake was, she asked my dad and a groomsman to finish setting up the tables with the charger plates, etc. Overall, she made the day more stressful than it should have.
