Crossing paths and working with Leslie will be one of the most memorable highlights of our wedding. On the first Zoom call, we connected and knew right away that she is the one that we needed, and have to book her right away before another lucky couple find her for the same wedding date that we were targeting so we did not waste any time and expressed our desire to work with her.

The overall experience was filled with so much fun and laughter. My husband and I are both doing full-time shift work and Leslie pretty much became our life line. She has such a friendly and easy going vibe which we loved, and yet she was professional, organized and efficient. From the planning, communication with the team of vendors, the rehearsal, up to execution of the plans on the wedding day were all on point and we could not ask for anything else on the best day of our lives. All our guests were so impressed and felt everything went very smooth.

We are sooo happy and grateful and going to miss our relationship with her. We are sad that our wedding planning is over, but we are excited and happy for the next luckiest couple that Leslie will be helping.

We had our wedding in July, and I cannot express how happy we are to have had Leslie Luu at Elle Weddings as our wedding planner! From the very beginning, it was clear that we were in great hands. Leslie took the time to understand our vision and preferences and transformed our ideas into a beautiful reality.

Leslie is not only incredibly organized and detail-oriented but also a warm and approachable person to work with. She helped us through every step of the planning process, from vendor recommendations to creating a timeline that ensured everything went smoothly on the big day.

Leslie also provided us with great support when our original venue cancelled on us 6 weeks before the wedding day. She jumped into action and notified all vendors once a new venue was secured. She essentially helped us replan the entire layout and décor all over again as the new venue was a completely different space. The turnaround time Leslie had to make this happen was amazing and I cannot thank her more!

We felt at ease on our wedding day knowing that everything was overseen by Leslie and her team. She is incredibly talented when it comes to décor. Especially her draping. Wow! We received countless compliments from our family and friends about how beautiful everything was.

Leslie is extremely organized and a fantastic wedding planner. We went with the partial planning option with Leslie and she made the planning seamless and wedding day unforgettable. She kept us on track for the decisions we were making ourselves and gave us lots of expert guidance when we needed it. Her recommendations for vendors were fantastic. We planned our wedding in Vancouver while living in the US and Leslie was very flexible to work with us remotely and meet us in person when we were in town. She went the extra mile to work with our venue which was very particular and somewhat challenging to work with. Leslie is also such a fun and friendly person to be around, and her calm energy was very appreciated. It was a huge relief to show up to our wedding day and know we had nothing to worry about.

Leslie, our day-of coordinator, deserves all the praise in the world for making our wedding day flawless. From the moment we met Leslie, her professionalism and attention to detail shone through. Although her role was day-of coordination, Leslie's guidance throughout the planning process was invaluable.

On the big day, Leslie and her team were simply amazing. They executed our plans flawlessly, allowing us to enjoy every moment. We had a lot of moving parts and decorations, but Leslie and her team managed to get it all done and everything looked beautiful.

Leslie's calm demeanor and problem-solving skills kept any hiccups at bay. Her timeline management was spot-on, keeping our day on track without feeling rushed. We did not notice any issues at all during the wedding day but Leslie did notice the little things, and contacted some of our vendors afterwards to tell them what was wrong, which led to them reimbursing us for those issues! Her proactiveness was much appreciated.

Leslie is highly experienced when it comes to running successful weddings and very well connected to vendors in the Vancouver area. The latter of which was especially helpful with her personal connections and insider knowledge for special treatment and ease of communication with other vendors. She was accommodating and easy to work with, and gave extremely helpful advice on how to make your plans a success, from large overlooked items and small venue specific details. During the event, she was responsive and confident in making the event a success, tending to last-minute changes and real-time pivots. Her success and popularity as a wedding vendor is probably also her only drawback, as she is averaging a few weddings a week, making email communication on the months prior to our event slower than preferred at times. However, when it's your month, she will be in constant communication over your preferred medium of choice. Overall, we had a lovely time working with her and would highly recommend her services.

I remember taking a peek as I walked up to the restaurant getting more and more excited and anxious but the moment I saw how you've put it all together, all of my worries just washed away — so corny but it's true! We were able to be present with our family and friends.

Leslie is friendly, flexible and super responsive. She did the full planning for us as we live abroad, so we messaged across timezones but she was very easy-going and responded asap. She was on it every step of the way and helped with whatever we needed. Thank you so much!

We hired Leslie as our Day/Month of coordinator for our wedding in June. She was very responsive and organized. A lot goes into a wedding to say the least but Leslie made sure all the details and logistics were taken care of. She was super experienced and helped put us at ease by helping us with our wedding timeline and schedules. We gave her a list of our wedding vendor contacts and she confirmed all the final details leading up to the wedding leaving us one less thing to stress about. Leslie also walked us through our rehearsal at the UBC Boathouse and made sure everyone was at the right place at the right time. Our wedding day was on time and everything went perfect, in large part because of Leslie’s great work!

Leslie took our Vision and created a Magical Setting for our Daughters wedding day. Her easy going manner & communication skills + attention to detail and execution gave us one of the best day of our Lives. Leslie was always so responsive to answer questions we had and when she took over the rest of the planning, she asked us all the important questions to understand what were the things we wanted for the reception. It helped us fill in the gaps for things that we didn't realize would make a difference to our timeline as well.
We also asked for her help to create a simple photo backdrop for us last minute and it ended up being so nice, everyone loved it.
