Five stars aren’t enough!
We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect experience than what Elope in Banff created for our wedding! The whole day went by like a movie and still feels like a dream. From start to finish, EIB made our elopement so special, easy, and stress-free. They took care of every detail, from suggesting locations (complete with pros and cons for each) to handling the required paperwork, coordinating our flowers, and even helping us choose the ideal time of day for that golden mountain glow. The team’s local knowledge and passion for the Banff area truly made a difference — they knew all the most stunning and private spots.
Christianne was incredible at listening to our vision and enhancing it with creative, personalized touches. She thought of details we’d never even considered but absolutely loved in the end. It was clear she cared about every aspect of our day, which helped us relax and fully enjoy the moment. Communication was seamless, even though we were on different continents with an 8-hour time difference. All we had to do was travel from Germany to Banff and show up. Meeting Christianne beforehand also made a huge difference; on the day of our wedding, it felt like being with a friend rather than a stranger, which made the ceremony feel even more special and heartfelt.
Twyla, our commissioner (chosen by Christianne), had such a warm, kind demeanor that she instantly took away any nervousness we had. She brought a personal touch to our ceremony, making it feel truly intimate and wholehearted. Twyla’s words and presence made our vows feel truly special and meaningful.
A huge thank you to Simon, our photographer, who made us feel comfortable in front of the camera — something we didn’t think was possible! We both are camera-shy, but Simon’s & Christianne’s friendly, easygoing approach and guidance helped us relax and be ourselves. Simon captured the magic of the mountains and the joy of the day so perfectly. We couldn’t believe how stunning our sneak peek photos turned out and can’t wait to see the rest of them.

Simply Magical at Lake Louise
Elope in Banff truly crafted our dream wedding day. As a couple living outside of Canada, we were torn between managing everything ourselves or hiring a coordinator—and we’re so grateful we chose the latter. From our very first phone call with Chris, we felt completely supported and confident that we were in expert hands.

Best Experience Ever
Elope in Banff should be your first choice for any wedding in the Banff area. I've never experienced such an organized, customized and family oriented service like one that was provided for our wedding. As someone who came from outside Canada to get married, we were incredibly nervous about forgetting something but thankfully we were lucky enough to find Elope in Banff. I could never even begin to put in words the level of customized experience we received. It was like having your best friend plan everything for you. Chris was absolutely amazing through the whole planning experience. She took any worry away that we had and really put us at ease. Everything was so well put together from the first moment we reached out. Think you are blown away by their package selections...wait until you see the location in person. We chose Peyto Lake and it was STUNNING. Having the itinerary put together and know what the day will be like way ahead of time allowed peace of mind. The day of was tremendous and our photographer Simon was spectacular. Chris and Simon really made our day special, treated our 10 guests like they were family, and made this major life event the most amazing day ever. Big shout out to Twyla and Sonya for also making the day so special. This was some of the best service ever received and if I could give more than five stars, I would. Chris and Simon, you both are amazing, and I hope you continue to make special memories like this for a very long time! You didn't find a career, you found a calling. Love you both! Dream Come True!!
Elope in Banff is absolutely incredible!! We truly cannot say enough outstanding compliments about Christianne, Simon and their entire team!! They exemplify the true meaning of professionalism and go out of their way to provide you with a stress-free experience right from the start!! They are very responsive and detail oriented. We literally planned our elopement in 7 days and it would not have been possible without Elope in Banff!! We met them the day before at the registry, went to view the flowers and got a breathtaking tour of the area and the wedding venue! Our whole experience with them was absolutely fabulous!! They made us feel like royalty on our wedding day and made every effort to make everything absolutely perfect!! Thank you, Elope in Banff, for making our dreams come true!! You will always have a special place in our hearts!!

Simply Magical Package
Elope in Banff is exactly the group of people you want besides you on your special day! Not only did they think of every last detail but they went above and beyond in so many ways! Christianne’s communication skills were unmatched! She answered all of our silly questions and was able to capture every detail from a country away. Our photographer, Simon was absolutely incredible! He went out of his way to get every shot possible. He jumped around the mountain side strapped with cameras putting his Fjällräven pants to the test! He shared the same excitement to photograph the wedding that my husband and I did to get married. Caitlin was like our new best friend. The day before the wedding she showed us around Banff to come cool spots. The day of the wedding she was professional and kept the train moving! She was prepared for EVERYTHING! She even brought water and snacks for during our photography session. Last but certainly not least our videographer Michael made being filmed seem natural. He was able to capture our special moments without it feeling like a production. The way Michael and Simon worked together made the whole experience fun and energetic!
All in all, our experience with elope in Banff was overly exceeded and I cannot recommend this wonderful group of people more!

The best wedding planner EVER!! : )
Christianne was our wedding planner with Elope in Banff. She has been absolutely incredible since day 1! We chose the Moraine Lake package for our wedding day. She handled every detail with such care, dedication, and professionalism making the entire planning process stress-free and enjoyable. Her attention to detail and ability to bring our vision to life has truly exceeded our expectations. Any time we had questions she was quick to respond and made sure that we had all the answers we needed in order to feel prepared for our wedding day as we traveled from the United States. We highly recommend Christianne and her talented team to anyone looking to make their wedding day unforgettable. A special thank you to the team put together by Christianne, the photographer (Simon) , videographer (Jasmine), officiant (Twyla), Harp (Deborah) who went above and beyond to make our wedding day so special. Best wedding planner i could have asked for!
Wow, I can say nothing but amazing things about Christianne from Elope in Banff. She was so professional, very quick to respond, very resourceful, kind and a pleasure to work with. We had a 3 week window to plan the biggest Heli wedding they have ever done and she nailed it with flying colours.
I am so happy with the way everything turned out and I am so grateful for Christianne and Elope in Banff because I definitely wouldn't have been able to do it without her.

It’s hard to capture how big of an impact having Elope in Banff was to our Wedding.
It was absolutely amazing to know that someone was there to help with everything.

The best experience for our special day!
If you are looking to elope in Banff then the only choice for the best experience is Elope in Banff!
This was the most stress free and dream-filled experience that we could have never done without them. From the first meet up with Christianne, she put all of our worries and anxiety to bed. Christianne had every detail nailed down. She picked us up at our hotel and brought us to the registry. All the paperwork was squared away by Christianne before we arrived. All we had to do, was sign our names. Then we went to the florist, who created the most stunning bouquet. After, Christianne brought us on the tour of the most breathtaking sites for ceremony and pictures.
On the day of the wedding, the makeup artist, Stephanie and Christanne ensured we looked perfect for our special day. They even pressed the gown and suit. At this point, the magic began! Simon is a master photographer. He and Christanne clearly love their jobs and it is plain to see. All the photos are brilliantly planned out between the locations and poses, they are perfect. Christianne was always right there to fix the hair in the wind or repositioning the skirt. Simon was over the top getting the perfect angles for every shot and making it look natural. The sneak previews of our photos put us over the moon with appreciation and satisfaction with Elope in Banff!

Winter Elopement in Banff

Chris (Christianne)
Planner/Coordinator
With over a decade of exposure as a professional performer, Chris is here to make sure that you have the best ever experience when you take centre stage on your wedding day.
Chris is energetic, organized, and very passionate about details. She will assist you in choosing the perfect spot for the ceremony and portraits, assist the bride in getting ready on your wedding day, and will be with you for the duration of the photographs to make sure that your special day will be a moment to cherish forever.
As a performer, Chris has traveled to many exciting destinations around the world including: Beijing (China), Sao Paulo (Brazil), Bogota (Columbia), Vienna (AT), and New York City (NY). She loves art, culture, cooking and wine.
Although she loves to travel, nothing is better than coming home to the Canadian Rockies. Growing up in Alberta, she is very familiar with Banff. She loves skiing in the winter, and hiking hard trails in the summer. She now lives in Canmore.
Sharon
Planner/Coordinator
With over 20 years of experience in the wedding industry, Sharon is still as passionate as ever about planning small wedding celebrations. "It true honor to be chosen and trusted to plan your elopement wedding"
In 1997, she began planning small weddings for a UK based travel agency and this was the start of her career in the wedding industry. Over the past 2 decades, she has worked with hundreds of couples from all over the world who have chosen to come to the Canadian Rockies to celebrate their marriage vows.
Sharon has created a number of packages to inspire and provide you with different ideas when choosing to be married in Banff or Lake Louise, Canada. These packages are a great starting point for your special day. However, these packages are flexible and nearly every wedding is customised to each individual couple.
Together, with her husband Malcolm Carmichael, they own: Alpine Peak Photography and the Banff Log Cabin B & B, heritage log home in Banff.
Sarah
Coordinator
Born and raised in Banff, Alberta, Sarah is very familiar with everything the valley has to offer, including the best restaurants, sight seeing, activities and so much more.
Sarah has just completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Dalhousie University. Her gentle, calm and patient personality makes her the perfect bridal assistant.
A strong and dedicated member of the Elope in Banff team, Sarah has lots of fun with our couples. She loves the opportunity to coordinate elopement weddings, meeting new faces from all over the world and introducing them to her beautiful hometown in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
Having worked at the flower shops in Banff for many years, as well as a number of different restaurants, (and being an outdoor lover of hiking, biking and adventuring), Sarah can help you find exactly what you are looking for when you come to Banff for your elopement celebration.
Sarah shows her couples the best outdoor spots to get married including some “off the beaten track” locations for total privacy in Banff. She is very much looking forward to meeting you and helping you have the elopement wedding of your dreams.
