We hired Sue as our month of wedding coordinator for our wedding in Golden in August (2022), and can’t recommend her enough! She made our wedding run so smoothly and stress free. She also really pulled our vision together by setting everything up so beautifully, it took my breath away seeing the reception decorated! She works so flawlessly with the vendors in Golden that it made everything so seamless and allowed us to really enjoy our day and not stress about the small things! She was able to keep us on track with our timeline, without ever making us feel rushed/stressed. Sue was a dream to work with! We live in the states and got married in Revelstoke, which we learned did not have many wedding planner/day of coordinator options. After talking to a few people in the Kelowna area, we stumbled across Sue and immediately knew she was our gal! She was experienced, calm, flexible, genuinely excited at the opportunity to be a part of our big day and had the same love as we did for the mountains. Leading up to the wedding, she made an effort to get to know us, answered timeline, vendor, decor & a ton of other questions, even met with us when we were in town one weekend. She proactively connected with all our vendors the week leading up to wedding, which was very appreciated as our vendors came from all across the Canadian Rockies.

The entire wedding weekend went so smoothly, which would not have been possible without Sue! We did not make it easy on her, as our ceremony was on the top of the mountain, accessible by gondola only. Following the ceremony, we took a gondola ride back down to mid-mountain where the reception was held. She seamlessly managed all the crazy, made the day come together & kept us on schedule... no easy task when you're herding decor and people up gondolas and all around the mountain. As a previous event planner myself, I had a vision for the wedding that came with a lot (understatement) of decor and detail. When I walked into the reception following the ceremony and saw it all perfectly setup, it brought tears to my eyes. She so beautifully made that vision come together, while managing a million other things. She was a sounding board throughout the weekend, a wealth of knowledge, resourceful & creative when small snags popped up and on top of every details throughout the day. When we arrived the next morning, following the wedding, all my decor was beautifully boxed up and ready for us to take home.

I cannot recommend Sue enough! She was such an important and much appreciated part of the weekend. Thank you, thank you, Sue!

Sue is so dialled & good at what she does I can't imagine our wedding day without her. She takes care of all the things you don't even think about & makes sure your wedding day runs smoothly. I would highly recommend Golden Dreams!

When we first started planning our wedding, a planner was kind of low on my priority list and now that we have had our wedding I would say hiring Sue was one of the best decisions we made. Every vendor we worked with highly recommended her and she made every detail of our day seem effortless. She kept all our vendors on the same page, made sure the decorations at the venue were perfect, and even managed to keep our ‘over excited’ family members in check. Sue took away any stress and allowed us to just enjoy the day. I can’t recommend her highly enough!!!!

Sue was just fabulous! Her responsiveness was on point and she always had the best recommendations (I am a tad indecisive...). She kept every flowing beautifully during the day, and the set up/decor was stunning! It was so nice to be able to rely on her throughout the event. She is also super friendly! :)

I loved working with Sue so much. She's just the best. To sum up – I would have been a total mess without her. She was so calm the day of and just kept reassuring me everything was going to go great. And it was perfect. She did a fantastic job of setting up all the decor and making sure that everything went to plan. I am a bit all over the place with things and have a particular taste and change my mind a lot. Sue was extremely accommodating and responsive to all my craziness. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding planner/coordinator, and her services are very budget friendly. You're in good hands with Sue :)

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Sue and her team. I planned a destination wedding without ever visiting the venue so having someone on the ground was vital. Not only did Sue help me on my wedding day but she was so willing to help me will all of the small details leading up to it. Her planning expertise and local knowledge really helped make my dreams come true.

Sue was amazing. Couldn’t ask for a better person to decorate and coordinate our wedding! She’s amazing at what she does and she goes out of her way to make sure you have the best day! For the Bride in particular; from working hard planning all the details and making many decisions to be told: "All you have to do is look beautiful and enjoy your special day; I'll do the rest".

We would have missed soo many details without Sue! She replied quick w any concerns or ideas we had. Our wedding was in a different province than we live, so the quick email replies or random phone calls were amazing.
The day of the wedding she was in the background, but guided us to make sure things went smoothly. Matt, the groom and I were able to enjoy our time and did not worry at all during our wedding day because we knew we had someone to count on.
