Jewel & Rose, Weddings and Events is a wedding planning service in Delta, British Columbia. Owner Rachel has worked in the hospitality industry for over 15 years and strives to give each couple an attentive, seamless planning process. She and her team work closely with each soon-to-be-wed to bring their unique vision to life and ensure each detail reflects their love story.

Highly recommend!

I can't recommend Rachel enough! She helped us turn our wedding vision into a reality, guiding us every step of the way and making sure no detail was forgotten. She's incredibly organised, and coordinated effectively with all of our vendors to make sure everything ran smoothly. On the wedding day, she and her team did an outstanding job of keeping everything on track and managing issues as they arose, and we had multiple guests compliment us on how seamless everything was!

Such an amazing team!!

Rachel and her team are like no other! We started meeting with Rachel a year and a half before our wedding and she always made sure we were kept on track with what we needed to get done (which is easy to lose sight of when planning a wedding). We honestly couldn’t have done it without her endless help! Everything that we had planned together came true on our wedding day better than we could have imagined. Her and her team took our vision and made it better than we ever expected it to be! We highly recommend Rachel and her team if you want your dream wedding to come to life!

Very sweet and excellent service

Rachel’s wedding planning is very professional and excellent. She basically planned everything from choosing vendors to small details like floral and table decor displays. Absolutely my dream midsummer wedding style. Definitely will recommend her!! I wish her all of the best and thank you for helping us achieve our wedding dreams.

Kind, professional, meticulous!

My partner and I were referred to Rachel through friends who enlisted her services at their wedding last year. We're so glad to have ended up with her! We chose the day-of coordination package, but she included monthly followups in the 3-4 months leading up to the big day to check in and make sure we had everything covered that would be needed. This really helped us get to the nitty gritty details and cover things that we could have missed or it would have taken us a lot longer to figure out. She has a system and it works! She even follows up with all the vendors for you in the weeks leading up to make sure everyone knows what to do and where they need to be.
Her two assistants she brought on the day were just as sweet as she was too and kept everything moving. You'll still need friends or other hired help to execute the setup, take down, etc, as these are not things that your coordination team has time for on the day.
I highly highly recommend Rachel and her Jewel and Rose team. They were phenomenal! Some of the best money we spent on the wedding-- completely worth every penny. Thank you Rachel!

You need to hire Rachel!!

Rachel is the absolute best and made our wedding day truly magical. Her dedication, creativity, and attention to detail were instrumental in creating a day that surpassed all our expectations and we can’t thank her enough.

Her ability to create a beautiful atmosphere truly transformed our venue into a dream come true. From our initial consultation to the final moments of our wedding reception, her professionalism and expertise were evident at every step of the planning process. Rachel was always available. She took our vision and turned it into a reality, going above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our special day was perfect. Rachel handled all the logistics, answered all our questions about everything, managed our vendors and managed our wedding timeline, which allowed us to relax and fully enjoy our wedding day without any stress.

We would not hesitate to use Jewel & Rose for your wedding planning and would recommend Rachel to our family, friends and colleagues!

Hire Rachel!

If you’re looking for help with your wedding, hire Rachel! We hired Rachel for day of coordination and she met with us monthly to help us navigate the details of planning our wedding. She made sure our special day went off without issue and was easily the best money we ever spent.

I can’t say enough about the awesome experience we had with Rachel! Our wedding was carefully coordinated by her months before, and on the day-of.

She was also reasonably priced, so that was also a win-win!

Best decision!

I hired Rachel for day of coordinator (The Sapphire Package) for our 50 person wedding. She exceeded all expectations and went above and beyond. I work in the event industry so I did most of the planning but Rachel stepped in to make sure I wrapped everything up and managed everything on the day of. For someone who likes to keep control of everything, it was really easy to hand everything to Rachel because I trusted her.

She has great knowledge in different parts of the industry (general events, hospitality, floral, etc). Two weeks before the wedding, I had to change my floral supplier and she fully took over that transition so I could focus on other areas of the wedding.

For the wedding day, she arrived early and gave everything her full attention. Every task I asked her to do was done efficiently and with ease. Her calm energy is a really good asset on a wedding day, especially since when I was loudly running all over the place. She also acted as my memory bank and I asked her to remind me things throughout the day. Without fail, she always gave me a gentle reminder at the right time.

Rachel set up our reception better than what I could envision, tore it down and packed everything away neatly for me at the end of the night. Bless her!

Wedding month and day of Coordination

Rachel with Jewel and Rose was just wonderful. She was so attentive, helpful, full of information and recommendations. She met with me every month to go over what needed to be done and when. She created timelines, and kept everything on file for the event. A month prior she took over all vendor contact which saved me! it can become overwhelming.

As far as the day of, she was exceptional! her entire team had every last detail taken care of. They were so kind, positive, helpful and flexible. kit rained until just a few hours before our outdoor reception and Rachel managed to bring our entire vision to life without issue.

I would highly recommend her to anyone getting married. She took pressure off the family, bridal party and us on the day of so everyone was able to just enjoy.

Affordable compared to many others, and the price was well worth everything she assisted us with!

Amazing planner!

Rachel was amazing planner to have. She was one of our first vendors that we chose to work with after we picked our venue. She was with us every step of the way ( and we picked her 1.5 years before our wedding date). She is not only a planner but she feels like family now. We have gotten close with her over the year and a half that we worked with her and she has watched our family grown in the process.

When it came to wedding date, I dont think I saw her miss a beat and if something was wrong ( I had no idea if there even was) she took care of it. She was so flexible with our little family ( We had our 4.5 year old son & 7 month old daughter in the wedding) that she bent over backwards to make sure they both were added in the ceremony at some point. She made sure that us ( Ladies) were on time and that the groomsmen were suppose to be as well.

If you want someone that is personal, professional, and just overall a great human to have on one of the most special day of your life, then Rachel will check all of those boxes plus more.

Rachel Frustaci
Owner and Principal Planner

Rachel has her Wedding and Event Management Certification and has worked in the hospitality industry for well over 12 years and graduated from Vancouver Community College’s Culinary Arts Program (2001) and worked as an apprentice chef until 2003. Rachel holds a Management Certificate in Interior Design from BCIT (2009) and has worked in the design field and still does some personal consulting. After starting her family in 2007 she put her career on hold. While being a mom to 3 growing kids and working in part-time administrative roles, Rachel started to blog about home décor, design projects, and her over the top parties. She has worked in various Business Administrative Roles from Landscape Design to Non-Profits. While working for a non-profit Rachel mostly enjoyed the events she volunteered for, which ranged from large outdoor gatherings to Benefits. It is at this point she realized her passions had come full circle. Wanting to combine her knowledge of Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Design and Art along with her business skills to create her favourite thing “A great experience.”
