Karina was a life saver!!
Even if you don't think you need a planner for everything leading up to the wedding, at minimum you need Karina for the month and day of. She is so knowledgeable about timing and scheduling and kept my optimism from creating an impossibly tight and chaotic schedule. Day of I didn't even bother having my phone on me because I knew Karina had it all covered. She made sure the reception space was breathtaking, from helping me choose candles, to chasing down linens when I decided I wanted them with only two weeks to go, and then actually pulling it all together day of. I wasn't worried for a second because I had complete faith she had us covered. I swear she has supersonic hearing - when I was commenting about a blister on my heel before the ceremony, she materialized an instant later with moleskin in hand and personally bandaged my feet.
Karina knew how important it was to us to get to dancing ASAP, and when a taxi fiasco led to my grandfather being late and set our ceremony back nearly an hour, Karina chased the kitchen staff to move the meal along as quickly as they reasonably could without us even having to ask her to.
All in all, you would be so lucky to have her on your wedding day and we can't recommend her enough!!

There seemed to be an endless list of decisions, spreadsheets and tasks that we never even imagined until Karina explained and helped us through them. We also know in the background she was doing a lot of work and managing issues that we never even had to worry about.

She was the best
Karina was the best! We had been planning our wedding for a year and then postponed due to COVID19. At the 1-month mark of our new wedding date, everything was still in flux and the rules changed daily. We had made several back up plans (different guest lists, etc). Prior to COVID19, we did not plan on having a wedding planner, not even a day of coordinator – and we would have been fine. However, when our venue wasn’t reopening 1 month prior I started looking at micro-weddings.
I found Karina online and she was so responsive! She was super helpful and giving us ideas of what we could be doing instead – this was even before we decided to hire her. Basically in a month, she helped us find a new location, new florist, new officiant and asked questions I never would have thought of, come up with seating plans and organize. She was always available to help when a vendor had an issue, give guidance, kept me on track and even ended up showing up the day of!
Our day went wonderfully and a large part of it was the help of Karina. You can tell she loves what she does and really cares. Thank you!

Congratulations on your engagement and wedding plans - I am so excited for you!
As a planner and former bride, I realize that after becoming engaged, you have approximately 5 minutes of complete bliss before the landslide of questions fire in your direction like little darts all trying to deflate that beautiful glitter filled wedding balloon.
I have been planning weddings for long enough to know that I have the experience and skill set to ensure that your day runs beautifully and seamlessly. Former couples as well as many of my industry peers will claim that I am a bit of a Zen Master.
The weddings I work on are calm not chaotic... it is my goal to ensure that any external drama is dialed right down... the focus is on the two of you and this amazing day that you have planned.
No two weddings that I do are ever the same - I thrive on taking the things you love and desire & finding a way to ensure that they are present on the big day. Your wedding is reflective of you and all the things that spark your joy.
I am an excellent and experienced planner, but I am also a talented designer. I owned a luxury floral studio for many years. I also had my own floral design show on HGTV.
I bring beauty to all that I touch and am fluent in the language of flowers. Experience within the realm of luxury floral and decor is one of the special skills I bring to the table with each and every client I work with.
I am based in Toronto, I have an amazing husband and mind-blowinly adorable son. I love to travel and am open to destination wedding work.
I work extremely well with Canadian Ex-Pats getting based in the US/UK and Europe. Planning from abroad has it's own set of challenges, but I have worked with many couples not based in Toronto and have found a very simple and successful model to make the process as stress free as it can be.
I am also extemely skilled in the department of short turn around planning windows. Not everyone has the desired 12-18 months of planning... (I had 30 days to plan my wedding and still managed a printed invite, vera wang gown, live band and 4 tier cake ) - it's all possible and can even be quite fun and exciting. So, if you need to get hitched quickly - I'm likley the best fit for the job.
